If you're looking to upgrade your car's/home's audio look no further than Don and Steve @ Unexpected Creations. These gentlemen are the most reliable and well trained installers in the area. They have extensive knowledge on the subject of acoustics and plenty of years of experience working with all models of cars and many brands of audio equipment.

Where to even begin? From the moment I called for the first time I was greeted with courtesy and respect, I was informed that I would not be able to come in as they were really busy that week. I would later come to understand that this was due to limited space/staff in their shop. Don and Steve work as a duo, just the two of them, and their shop is in the garage of Don's own home. Don't let this deter you, this place is legit and what it lacks in square footage, it more than makes up for in professionalism and comfort. They have all the tools necessary for a quality install as well as having a marvelously set up guest waiting room in the basement with all the most desirable amenities.

After going through some options I finally decided on all the components that would make up my system and we scheduled another appointment for the actual install, which wasn't more than a few days later. With so much work being done, they preferred to keep the car overnight and Don offered to do everything possible to make sure I was well taken care of while I was without a car, going so far as to offer driving me to work. Don was very attentive with keeping me up to date with everything and he let me know as soon the car was ready to be picked up.

I have no problem admitting that I'm particularly picky and regardless of that fact Don was extremely patient and installed everything to my exact specifications and desires. He and Steve built a system that is exactly to my liking and that I enjoy greatly each and every time I step into my car. Additionally, he was very understanding with my financial situation and was willing to work with me while I struggled to resolve an unforeseen issue that I happened to run into. That being said, as far as prices, I can't think of anyone else in the business that is as fair and reasonable when it comes to pricing. Car modifications are usually way overpriced but Don charges a very justifiable price and works with his clients to the best of his ability.

I have a number of great things to say about the business, the people, and the work done for me. The reviews speak for themselves and I can attest to that. I would just like to take the opportunity to thank Don and Steve for a marvelous job, I couldn't be happier. You guys have serious talent for what is unfortunately becoming a lost art and I appreciate your work and will happily recommend you to anyone looking to get any type of electronic work done to their cars.

Don and Steve are amazing! I had researched many places for the various work I am looking to get done on my 2004 Toyota RAV4. The car has sentimental value as it was a gift from my father, and he passed in Dec. 2019. I wanted to spruce up the car and found Unexpected Creations in my search for an upgraded infotainment system, auto start and backup camera.

Firstly, the shop is impeccably clean and Don has a waiting room with all you could need for anyone who needs to use it. We didn’t need to use it as we live nearby, but just the fact that he is so considerate of his clients is a big factor and indicator of the quality of their work and customer service.

Second, Don and Steve answered all my many questions and were such a pleasure to work with and just be around. No pressure in buying high ticket items or feeling like you are being upsold to something you don’t need. In fact it is the opposite. Their recommendations are for what realistically you need and will use and what is the best experience for the customer in the long run, not the short sale. They take the time to talk to you and get to know you to help you make the best decisions on your car. They really make you feel welcome.

Third, pricing was far superior to other places I had researched. Everything was explained to me clearly and options were given for budget and value.

Lastly, service was TOP NOTCH, Steve called me to alert me of an issue with my door that no other shop took the time to diagnose. My car had been to two other shops for other work and no one could figure it out or would touch because the auto start device I had. They also fixed my parking brake lights that I didn’t even know the bulbs blew. And they did an impeccable job restoring my headlights. Steve also walked me through all the tricks and capabilities of my new devices. And since he saw all the dog hair (LOL) even advised me how I could work the car to keep them safely inside without having to leave my key in the ignition. AND they cleaned up the inside of my car.

My experience was amazing and unbelievable.Don is a great outstanding guy. I was having issues with a back up camera in my car that did not work properly it was done at another shop . Don got me in and he was able to identify the issue. He then went out of his way to contact the distributor for the system. KEEP IN MIND I DID NOT BUY IT FROM THEM. Once he contacted manufacturer he was able to get the unit and get me in to get it warrantied. Again he sells the product but he is such a stand up guy and professional and went out of his way to get me a replacement that was not purchased from him nor installed from him. The company I bought the unit from wanted me to buy the system because they said it was not faulty. So Don contacted his connection and was able to get unit warrantied and not having me pay for another unit at all. He installed the unit and now all working as designed and at the same time cleaned up the mess that prior installler left. He was super organized and neat. And also helped me out installing a dash cam I also had. All my life I have never seen a owner /installer which is Don go out of his way like that to make a customer happy when prior company did not want to help me. These guy deserve more then 5 star that is not enough if there was 10 or 20 I would give them that . Sometimes people are not fair with the bs they say about these guys.
