The Waxx Room — Attraction in Edmond

I have been using the Waxx Room for over three years now and its unfortunate that I have to write a negative review for the whole crew when I really just had a bad experience with one person. I was in a pinch and had to book with Shelli, whom I have never met before. My appointment was at 5pm and I got there early and in the room by 4:55 pm. When I got in, I asked her if she could do my brows as well since there wasn't an option to book online for "Male Brazilian and Brow" and she said that was fine. She was very kind but the service was terrible. The first issue is that she left me completely exposed the whole time. The next issue was that she was rushing so fast, and just applying a lot of wax in a large area at one time and it just made it so uncomfortable. Every time she would turn around to get wax, she would run her hand along the freshly waxed spots with her gloves on and down to my leg where she kept her hand. Kinda awkward but I didn't want to say anything. During this whole time my privates are burning from the pain from the large areas she was removing. She finishes up and when she was applying the oil, she made such a mess just squirting it on me like a ketchup bottle. Its 5:15 (20 mins in) and she says done! and I was like, okay, what about my brows? And she said "sorry, I am only allowed 30 minutes and I am running behind". What? My appointment was set for 5pm and if you're giving me 30 minutes in an appointment you've got 15 minutes left with me. She quickly ran out and I examined the work. I was so RED and inflamed. And she had missed so many hairs. I examined closer and she gave me a bruise on the shaft of my penis! I was in shock. I also feel like she over charged me because it was more expensive than it usually is, especially since I did not get a brow wax. My inflamed private area (front and back) usually disappears the same night if not gone by the next morning. It took TWO DAYS with religiously applying tend skin to it to get the inflamed and tender areas to go away. For those that read this through, book with someone else. I had a very bad experience! They are not professional and customer service is zero! I chose this place based on reviews but obviously reviews are fake! I had appointment with Emily at 3:30pm and i was 10 minutes late. She didn't accept me and canceled my appointment. She was very rude and acted so unprofessional with huge attitude. I was 10 minutes late because i had to drive from edmond to Oklahoma in order to drop my kids at a safe place in this pandemic, then i drove 20 minutes back to edmond again to see this people. and for being 10 minutes late, they cancelled my appointment. So imagine that i had to drive back again to pick up my kids from oklahoma and going home. Basically i wasted 2 hours of my afternoon driving around the town. 5 minutes after i left the salon, owner called me and said " i heard that you had a bad experience here, how can i help you? " I didn't respond her But here is my answer (please don't hire unprofessional young girls with lots of attitude to ruin your reputation! ) Please, don't waste your time with this people. This place is amazing! I've been several times and I've never had to wait. I walk in and they're ready for me. Always happy and courteous. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. Everyone I've seen is knowledgeable about any procedure I'm having done or curious to learn about. They are quick and efficient! They pay great attention detail and make sure they get all the hairs out. I also feel like their pricing is very fair and affordable. The office is also very up to date! They also offer other services such as brow and lash tinting which I both loved as well! Easy location to find with easy dedicated parking spots. Will never go anywhere else!...
