El Monte Aquatic Center — Attraction in El Monte

1-17-18 Horrible customer service after the remodeling.

Front desk, Devin Dufauchard, told me the lap swimming is gonna end at 7:30pm, and let me sign in at the entrance at 6:45pm. After I took the shower and ready to enter the pool, the supervisor, Kendall Delgado, didn't allow me to enter the pool, because the lap swim starts at 7:30pm. While Kendall Delgado went to verify with the front desk, I had been left standing in the cold wind, since the huge door was open.

Devin Dufauchard, Why you let me sign in on the lap swim log at 6:45pm, which is 45 minutes before the lap swim? I knew the lap swim usually ends at 9pm, since the new schedule is not posted yet, I confirmed it with you twice today. I asked you "when the lap swim close today?"You answered " It ends at 7:30pm." the first time over the phone in the afternoon. I asked you again " Is today the only day it ends at 7:30pm?" You said" Yes!" I am not sure how much attention you paid to my question while you were answering. This was not miscommunication; this is a careless misguiding wrong information.

I got so frustrated and decided to leave. Both Devin Dufauchard and Kendall Delgado, refuse to refund me the admission.

Seriously? I had been told the wrong lap swim time, and never been allowed to enter the pool; you still charge me the admission???

The whole pool was managed by these two ladies at that time, so I even don't have the option to talk to anyone else.

City of El Monte put so much in the beautiful facility to better service the residents. What I experienced today is definitely not what the city want to see. The feedback is to help the city to realize the quality of the service offered at the aquatic center. Looking forward to see a better...

Recommended by a good friend, I have been bringing my son to this Aquatic Center for the past year. I have read a lot of bad reviews about this place, however, in my opinion, they have the best price. $50 for 8 lessons for 25 minutes each (20 students max) , or $280 for 8 private lessons for 30 minutes each. Sometimes if you are lucky, $50 for private lesson when you are the only one enroll in the session. I do like this center as the instructors are pretty good in instructing the students. They have the patience towards each of them. Aside from the cold water in the shower, I really would recommend this Aquatic Center to anyone who wants to enroll their children. Very nice facility. Indoor and outdoor pools. Clean locker rooms. The times for assorted activities, classes, lap swim and water exercise etc are plentiful. And there are a lot of other activities as well. Clearly a central hub of the community.

I will be back.

It is wierd but bring a quarter if yiu want to lock your locker.
