I rarely bother with leaving reviews for many reasons. As we all know going out of our way to comment on a location takes effort and providing something meaningful for others to read is hard when you want to encapsulate the quality of this store and wish to convince others to give it a look. Some background, I’ve been an avid tcg player for most of my life, I grew up in El Paso and would frequently visit this location every weekend with my friends so there’s some bias to this of course. Every single time I visited however, it has been the most memorable, and wonderful times I’ve ever experienced. The staff employed have always been knowledgeable on the product, active in the tcg scene and friendly. The owner Tim is incredibly kind along with Derek who clearly remembers his entire clientele from years past it amazes me. I’ve long since outgrown El Paso, and moved on to several other cities. Of course I never left the tcg scene, I still frequently go to card shops for the fun of it regardless where I live or visit. I’ve seen several and experienced different communities in my time moving around. But I can say without a doubt that there is no other place like this one, especially with the amount of products they offer. I encourage you to visit, to get involved with the community whether it’s yugioh, magic, Pokémon, anything really. I recommend you to make some memories here with your friends and experience the unique charm the location has. Considering it still stands for almost 20 years, it’s a testament to what a good card shop really is. There will be bad moments I imagine as there is in life, things out of your control or an employee having a bad day or maybe someone is rude you’ll probably read here and there on a random day, but you need to realize that happens and it doesn’t take away from what makes this wonderful place work, don’t let it deter you from coming in. Update staff has contacted me to issue an apology after I brought this issue to their attention. I went in again and their customer service was great. Been coming here since 2017 and always had good experiences. The products are awesome and they cater to the majority of my hobbies. As of recently though there has been one staff member who seems very ill tempered whenever I go in, it’s the shorter gentleman out of all the staff. I went in to pick an order of cards, and after he went through the whole list he read out the total for my order. I then told him that I was gonna pick up some card sleeves. While I went to get the card sleeves he decided to check out another customer. And I waited to the side with the card sleeves. When he was done with the customer in front of me he told asked me which sleeves I got and I held them up. He then got upset because he couldn’t see the price and instead of asking me to turn the item to see the price sticker he ripped the box from my hand exclaiming “I CANT SEE THE PRICE FROM THAT SIDE!” Which kind of shocked me. I’m sad to see this type of hostility towards the customers and it’s not the first time this gentleman has treated customers...

I've shopped here three times, two of the three times, I had Horrible service. I had walked in, And waited about 20 minites in line, constantly being cut off by other customers, who were friends with the employees, I got served, and they didn't even have what i was looking for, despite saying it was in stock.

My second issue is when i had gone when it wasn't busy, just looking to pick up suplies. I walked in, And for no reason, the Owner(i assume), An employee behind the counter, And another employee who was on the floor just looked at me. Not greeting me, Just staring at me, and watching me. It felt like they were expecting me to be worth thier time, and pressured me into buying something. Instead i just bought something i didn't even remotly need, that was cheap, just so i could leave. The owner checked me out, and acted like my purchase wasn't worth thier time.

Do not shop here. Try another gaming store unless this one is your only option. You will not enjoy being here, unless your spedning hundreds, or are friends...
