One of my favorite places to visit when I am in El Paso. The Museum is housed in the former home of one of the early citizens of El Paso show donated her home to the city! You will discover new exhibits every month that may surprise you. Many of the artists are from our region but there are also other art work that has been donated to the museum.

If you are in El Paso during the month of November 2016 please stop by because I am showing my work there! You can see it in the photo below!

On November 16th Las Palmas Medical Center hosted the First Annual Bras and Boots of The Borderland at the International Museum of Art. The museum was the perfect setting for this creative art charity event to support families confronted with the financial strains often associated with fighting cancer. The staff at the museum was beyond professional and helpful in making this first event beyond successful. If you are looking an event venue in El Paso you should check...

They were supposed to be open at 12:00 on Sunday. Staff began pulling in to the parking lot after 12:05. When I tried to enter, they asked me to wait outside a while because they're not ready yet. Pretentious name "International" met my expectations. The exhibition overall was represented pretty unintelligible and chaotic. There were some good paintings of local guys -- Bill Rakocy, Margaret Tumey, and the rest was just ok. I really hoped to see an interesting historical building, at least, but it had severe results of interior remodeling, and the second floor was closed for public, so I did not get any...

My son and I have been enjoying every reception for art exhibits for a few years now. In addition, the museum organizes special events for members. Every event outshines the previous one. As members we are very proud to support a venue that celebrates, appreciates and encourages artists to showcase their work. Every exhibit is unique and exciting. I hope more local people support the efforts of the staff. Admission is free but feel free to donate whatever you can. There is a big plastic box when you can deposit your donation. The upcoming exhibit, The Sun Bowl Exhibit, is coming soon in October. Do...

It's in fact a historical site which the property was and is owned by the Turney family. The building itself is an antique, and the whole building is full of antiques, except the themed artworks exhibited from time to time, the interior design and decoration is worth spending time appreciating the details. There's a hall at the basement in which you will find the historical relics of the Mexican Revolution and some key moments of Puncho Villa. Some Chinese and Indian paintings and wooden crafts will make me realize the variety of the collections of the Turney family.
