Operation Outbreak: El Paso Escape Game — Attraction in El Paso

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Operation Outbreak escape room, and it was an absolutely fantastic adventure. From the moment we arrived, our host, Fabian, set the tone with a welcoming and engaging attitude, making sure we were fully prepared for the challenge ahead.

The room itself was brilliantly designed, with intricate puzzles and immersive details that kept us on our toes the entire time. The storyline, centered around stopping a viral outbreak, was thrilling and made every puzzle feel meaningful to the overall mission. The variety of challenges kept things fresh and exciting, from logic-based puzzles to physical tasks that required teamwork and creativity.

Fabian was an excellent host — clear, supportive, and enthusiastic without giving away any spoilers. His hints were just the right level of help, nudging us in the right direction without making it too easy.

My friends and I recently did the Last Breath room at Operation Outbreak, and it was absolutely everything we hoped for — creepy, immersive, and so much fun! The atmosphere was spot-on with an eerie vibe, detailed props, and a perfectly unsettling setup that made the whole experience feel like you were really part of a horror movie.

We actually tried this room once before and didn’t make it out in time — but we had such a great time that we had to come back for a second try. This time, we escaped! The puzzles and clues were so well thought out and cleverly designed, we loved every minute of it.

Huge shoutout to our game master Lexo, who did an amazing job guiding us when needed without giving too much away. After we finished, he came in to chat, answered all of our questions, and even took a photo of our group. Lexo’s enthusiasm for the escape rooms (especially the upcoming new one!) was contagious — he genuinely made the whole experience even better.

Extremely fun and immersive experience!

I did their robbery scenario and filled out the waiver ahead of time. The game started right away and was extremely challenging.

Clues and puzzles were very cryptic and there was no clock or clues really. It was all trial and error but that just increased the sense of accomplishment.

The inclusion of actors and role players was an awesome addition. They played their part well, but the 'police' were a bit rough. Might not be super suitable for children or elderly individuals. Maybe they just saw my Adonis physique and figured I could handle a little roughing up.

Still trying to figure out the second stage and get out of custody...

*UPDATE: It turns out I broke into the insurance agency next door and committed a felony. No one was acting. Still not sure how I was able to solve the code to the safe but I have bigger problems now.
