Scooter's Jungle of El Segundo — Attraction in El Segundo

My first time hosting a birthday party with scooters. Over all a great experience, the staff were friendly and helpful. All the kids had a blast. I did have 3 miner issues I should’ve communicated with the staff about but I was also having to much fun that it went over my head. Easy fixes. No complains of the play area.

1. they weren’t sure of what package I had purchased (the over the top package is what I purchased). so I had to ask for the birthday girls T-shirt (and size) for my guest to sign before my guest took off.for my guest that had to leave early. The staff had to double check that my package included goodie bags and balloons. Because of that the balloons were brought into the room half way into eating. Maybe they forgot. Mind you, I and staff went over what package I purchased about 3 times before the event took place.
2. when in the dinning hall the kids where served and treated like royalty. For the adults Our tables did not have the soda pitchers and cups ready for us to grab. We also only got 1 pizza put out per table when I had more that could’ve been put out. made it seem like I didn’t order enough food for my guest but the reality was that the staff was keeping the pizzas in the warmer and where focused on the kids that the staff didn’t pull out the other pizzas for the parents. Because of that I ended up going home with 3 pizzas.
3. I took 2 cakes, 1 had the candles that we sang happy birthday with. the 2nd cake I should’ve communicated with the staff to cut ahead of time. Because I felt it took a little too long having just 1 staff member cutting both cakes and handing them out to the guest. (Like I said my fault) but with their experience I felt like they...

Today, Tuesday, March 8 at 3:15 p.m., my wife, my 5-year-old daughter, and I went to this place with the hope that my daughter would have fun for at least an hour since they close at 5:00 p.m. but it turns out that when we entered the boy who was attending at that moment, at first glance he saw us as if he had seen an enemy, for the moment he took the phone and began to talk to someone, ignoring us for several minutes, for which we asked him If you could attend to us, we wanted some tickets, to which he replied that they did not have service for us, and we asked him why, and he simply replied that we understood that there was no service anymore, we insisted that it was not yet 5:00 pm, that we would only be there for an hour, to which, again with mockery and racist words, he told us that because we were Latinos we were not welcome there and that we simply could not do anything about it. At that moment we felt so unable to defend ourselves and respond to him as this guy deserved, because our daughter was witnessing an act of racism. It was sad to see how people like hem works in places that are supposed to brighten the hearts of children. I wish someone could do something so that these types of workers are no longer in these positions harming whoever they please. It was such a HORRIBLE...

Overall it was good. The kids had a great time. But there are certain things I wasn’t happy about it or I wasn’t aware about the party policy. The email you sent me since it was first time to my email address it went to junk email. I found out last minute and I didn’t get a chance to go over the Scooter jungle policy. I did sign the contract the same day on the counter. Mind you this our first time and we didn’t haven’t any idea about the policy. The time that was given to us, we left a little late plus we didn’t know about that staying in the lobby after the party costs money and we got charged $75 dollars for a little late leaving the party room and $150 dollars for staying in the lobby after the party. For me it wasn’t fair. This is it wouldn’t be the first or last time, I have another daughter her birthday is coming February and I was planning to do it in your place and about to share my experience with our community .The happy customer will share about good experience with 5-10 peoples but the unhappy customer will share about bod experience with 20-40 peoples. Sorry I felt this way as first time customer. Anyhow the kids had a good time but overall I wasn’t satisfied the customer service. Even though I sill gave them a tip to the employees that helps us with the party.
