Took my 15yr old and we had a nice time walking around seeing all the art work. Took about 45min to an hour to go through it all. Says turn off cell phones so reapected the sign and didn't take pictures of the art inside. Please reapect that request from them. The cost to get in is reasonable and says prices on the door before going inside. They had a lot of Rockwell pictures that were on the magazines years ago. A great place to take a leisure walk and ponder on the paintings. I found it fascinating there was a letter from Nixon to then president for sending a clay pottery item to him. Indiana had clay and the room where could see some of the items made from it was pretty cool. Also Rockwell wrote a letter about Abraham lincoln picture he did and can read it too. Pretty awesome place to go to if into Art or want some where new to you...
Read moreManageably sized museum with a good collection of artwork from around the US with the Midwest and Indiana in particular. We were the only people there when we visited and the curator was very friendly and informative. It’s located in an old bank building with original vault still in place and now functioning as an exhibit room. The Norman Rockwell prints will familiar to anyone who’s taken a US history class in high school. The permanent Indiana ceramics exhibit was also surprisingly interesting in spite of my having no previous experience with ceramics. Overall a great little museum to visit that’s accessible and not...

The staff was quick to offer historical data and an overview of the art contained therein. Not the best exhibits I've seen but with the rich history of the building, the art, and staff friendliness I have to give this...
