NIBCO Water and Ice Park — Attraction in Elkhart

I took my children to the ice park for the very first time. I was informed I had to pay to enter even though I would not be skating which was not a problem. But was not informed that the park would be closing in 30 minutes. I asked management about possibly getting a discount for the second session since I was unaware of the requirement. I was informed that I would have to pay full price again for everybody regardless of the amount of time that you enter. I Understand that it is important to make a profit with small businesses. But since this is a city owned establishment and advertised as a family friendly activity. This is very difficult for families who are on tight budgets and those new to this type of activity. Greatest place to ice skate that I've ever been to. Only $5 to skate and that includes skate rental. Friendly staff helped me get the right skates for my 6 yr old daughter. There are these things that look like adult walkers and the are great. My 10 yr old daughter was trying one with her sister and in less than an hour she put it away and was skating on her own. There is a snack bar with drinks and popcorn. It's a great place to skate but my granddaughter did break her wrist. My other granddaughter had a great time and wants to go again and won't stop begging me. She wants to go every weekend.
