Sweet Granada — Attraction in Emporia

Quaint, little chocolate shop that is smart enough to make dark and milk (or white) chocolate versions of almost everything. We bought truffles and bark. All of it was delicious. The Graham cracker in the s'mores was even crunchy. The chocolatier knows what they're doing. I only marked it four stars because the girl that assisted us looked like she'd rather be eating live bugs. I also asked her a few questions and instead of trying to find the answers, she just said she didn't know because she just boxes stuff. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Worth the small detour if you're passing...

We're in Emporia (from Colorado) for a graduation. Our great-niece works at Sweet Granada, so we had to go on and see what it was all about. Delicious surprise!! More chocolate candies than I could count or name, and everything looked so good. Truffles, salted caramels, brittle and bark, individual chocolates and gift packs. They also have gelato. I bought a sampling of some of my favorites and wished they had a store in my hometown. If you're in Emporia, definitely stop in and indulge your wildest...

I love almost everything in Sweet Granada. I tried every kind of chocolate truffle they had. I absolutely recommend the champagne, german, Strawberry, caramel, cheesecake, and dark chocolate. I used to wait to try and buy their holidays' special dessert, absolutely cute. I believe that I became addicted to Sweet Granada after they added Macarons.
