Melissa’s Chop Shop — Local services in Emporia

I went in to get a haircut before a job interview. Big mistake on my part. The ladies were all very nice, but obviously very inexperienced. I asked for a simple business cut (male), and I was left with so many bumps and bald spots that I will be forced to buzz it down myself before a job interview tomorrow. I was warned by a few locals that some of the businesses don't appreciate out-of-towners because they all come in during the same week. I fear they intentionally assigned an inexperienced hairstylist to me because they weren't concerned about repeat business. The irony is that I will be living in Emporia as of June. All the girls are super friendly and care about the results of their work. Easy to talk to with a great atmosphere. I recommend this shop over any I have ever been too. Prices are great also!! I have never once been unhappy with the work at the shop. I recommend men and women of all ages go here and see what a satisfied customer is supposed...
