This place has so many yummy options! I highly suggest this place, especially if you enjoy mixing flavors and trying out new things because they have coffees, steamers, chai tea, teas, Italian sodas and more that you can put whatever flavors you want (they have about 20 flavors, if not more). My group was new to the area and the woman that worked there was so sweet and helpful!
The place is kinda small for the era of Covid and so they only have two open tables. They do have a mask mandate and they do social distancing.
We are in a little cozy corner and had two delicious scones! They weren’t dry at all and if you heat them up, it gives it a different but still yummy taste! We also got a heated up cinnamon roll that was ooey gooey and totally tasty!
As for drinks, I can’t quite remember what the order two had, but I got a love potion hot chocolate. Their love potion flavor is a mix of chocolate, raspberry, and vanilla (I think vanilla but I can’t quite remember). I decided to mildly change it up and switched the raspberry flavoring to cherry flavoring and I was in total heaven! I don’t know how many of you have had chocolate covered cherries where it has a syrup with the cherry inside, but that’s exactly what this tasted like. I loved it so much that when one of my group went back to Emporia the next week, I asked her to get me another and bring it...
Read moreThis was one of my favorite local coffee shops to visit during my two years living in emporia. The prices are reasonable and/or pretty good. TONS of flavor options and drink types. The art store they are combined with is awesome to look at while waiting for your drink or food. The people are very nice and very helpful. I love how they will bring your drink to you if you have wandered off to look at the art. The seating has many options that are very nice, such as a bar table, a table, a couch, etc. I have met up with many friends here and often see people studying here. The atmosphere is very welcoming yet not overwhelming, but not at all dull. I especially love the...
Read moreSpacious coffee shop with plenty of outlets to plug in, work/study or relax and enjoy your caffeine fix. If not either of those, stay and play a board game that is available in the shop. Friendly faces take your order, great music though it varies depending on whose working.
Their products don't stop at caffeine, but also serve local baked goods, oatmeal and delicious foods. This place is so cozy, its unreal. Could spend a lot of time/money here if I were local.
We recently visited because my boyfriend is currently the featured artist for Emporia First Fridays Art Walk. Unrelatedly related, they share a space with Coldwell Banker,...
