Asteya Collective Yoga Studio: A Sanctuary.
If you're searching for a haven of peace, wellness, and community, look no further than Asteya. My experience at this studio has been nothing short of transformative, and I am thrilled to share.
Atmosphere: The reception area is often bustling with conversations between students who have been become friends, along with students connecting with teachers after class. The moment you step into Asteya Studio room, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility. The studio's minimalist design, combined with soothing dim lighting and a calming color palette, creates the perfect environment for relaxation.
Instructors: The heart and soul of Asteya are its incredible instructors. Each teacher brings a unique blend of expertise, warmth, and passion to their classes. Each class, like each instructor is unique. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, the instructors offer modifications and encouragement, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and challenged at their own level. Their dedication to the practice and to their students' well-being is truly inspiring.
Class Variety: Asteya offers a diverse array of classes to suit all preferences and schedules. From invigorating Vinyasa flows to calming Yin sessions, there is something for everyone. The studio also offers Hatha classes for those seeking a balanced and methodical practice, Barre classes for a ballet-inspired workout, Sculpt sessions for a blend of yoga and strength training, and dedicated Meditation classes to enhance mindfulness and inner peace. Special workshops, Breathwork experiences, and retreats provide additional opportunities for growth and learning. The studio's schedule is thoughtfully curated, making it easy to find classes that fit into even the busiest of lifestyles. Classes start at 6am and continue through 7:30pm.
Community: One of the standout features of Asteya is its strong sense of community. The studio fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment where friendships flourish. Social events and group activities outside of regular classes help deepen connections and create a supportive network. Asteya has offered free monthly community days where anyone can attend since inception. These community days are now $10 a class and a great opportunity to include friends and family in your practice. This sense of belonging is invaluable and sets Asteya apart from other fitness facilities.

In conclusion, Asteya Collective is more than just a place to practice yoga; it is a sanctuary where you can find peace, strength, and a sense of belonging. Read moreThis is quite possibly the best studio I have ever had the privilege of being a member of. It has all the advantages of being a bigger, more modern studio (very clean, locker rooms, showers, lots of classes and instructors to choose from, large studio spaces) while still having all the benefits that you find in smaller studios (instructors that you can genuinely connect with, classes that tap into the emotional and spiritual side of yoga, lots of incense, opportunities for breathwork, incorporating music into classes, etc.). All the instructors have amazing music, some of the best songs I have on my spotify are from here. The membership pricing is very reasonable as well. You can tell that the owners, management, and instructors really care about creating a healing, nurturing, and empowering experience for all. Do yourself a favor and try a class here, whether you are just starting out or you're looking for a new studio...
Read moreI took Power Fusion 1 with Kalia, and the description that comes to mind is "challenging, yet accessible." I take a lot of Vinyasa classes, and this one got me sweating. That said, it never felt overwhelming. It was just the right level of intensity to keep things engaging without discouraging folks who are new to yoga.
Kalia did a great job offering posture cues early in the flow, helping refine alignment before picking up the pace into a dynamic breath-to-movement rhythm. It made the class both a learning experience and a solid workout.
Beyond the class itself, the whole studio had great energy. The space was beautiful, the staff was incredibly welcoming, and I even stuck around after for a nice chat with Christina, the owner, who brought the same warm and inviting vibe I had felt since walking in.
All in all, it was an exceptional experience, and I’ll definitely be...
