4U Motel — Attraction in Englewood

This has to be in the top 3 most disgusting, run by crackheads, ripoff motel I've ever stayed at in my entire life. I was greeted by a locked office that had a sign which read "knock on room 108", which was answered by a foreign man who barely spoke any English and identified himself as "manager". He sold me a room for what he said the rate was, $50. He gave me a receipt and a key to my room, 113. |He told me this was his last room.|The cleanliness was below average expectations. I figured I'd tolerate it and move on to a better motel the next night. After one hour, i heard a loud banging at my door and then before I could get up to get it, an older Asian man let himself in my room with his key. He screamed like a crackhead that he was the owner and found someone to pay $5 more for the room so I "had to leave". I showed him my receipt. He still demanded I leave the room.|He claimed he "just increased the rate, and $50 was a mistake", so I had to leave. I demanded a refund.|At first he refused until I told him I'd call the police on him for theft/fraud.|He reluctantly refunded my $50 and I left this unethical, scummy motel as fast as I could; I located better, cleaner, cheaper accommodations just down the road, for...

I have stayed here a few times. The location is great. But its kind of a bizarre place. The rooms have been stripped of their entry lights. The maid won't change your bedding if you stay a few days. The bathroom could have been cleaner. It smelled like urine. I found hairs and toenail clippings. And there was duct tape along the tub. The microwave was dirty. And the bizarre part... Due to paper thin walls I heard the people next door loudly having sex all night long which I would rather not have heard. It was pretty unnerving. It is close to the hospital which was much needed as I needed to be close to my loved one. So if you need a reasonably priced room in a great location and if you can overlook the full spectrum of the bizarre then stay here. Its the best I have found on the Broadway strip. But keep your car and room locked and plan to turn on your tv loud to block out impolite bedroom noises...
