*1/22 Update: GET A RECEIPT AND CHECK IT AGAINST THE MENU PRICING. V has been losing stars in my experience from what WAS a 5star review, and I have to say Im reconsidering stopping here anymore. I drive 30 mins from Denver just to visit this place. On my last visit I ordered 3 dishes, all of which were added to my bill @ a diff price than reflected on their online AND in store menu (see photos) - •The teriyaki bowl is priced @ $8.99 on menus with no mention of pricing on added protein for that item - I was charged $2 extra for tofu for a total of $10.99.
•The peanut tofu noodle bowl is priced on menus @ $10.99, with tofu INCLUDED in the bowl - I was charged $11.99.
•The drunken noodle is priced on menus @ $10.99, with added tofu costing a reflected price of $2.00 extra - I added tofu and was charged $11.99, $1 less than what the price should've been.
When I asked about it at the counter, the young petite asian girl just looked at me dumbfounded saying 'uhhh' while the older, heavyset asian woman went on to try to tell me the Peanut Tofu bowl price hasnt been updated. 😑🙄 I asked, so the prices are now different? The woman tells me yes. Here it is 3 days later and the online price and instore menu prices still reflect what they have been, and are no different. Not to mention that does not justify or explain why my other 2 bowls were rung up wrong, or why the menu is seemingly not transparent in what is considered an add-on to ALL items, and what each add-on costs. Tofu cost $2 extra for one bowl, but not the other? And even when its reflected as included in the bowl it still costs extra? Cmon now. What I think is that they overcharge, betting on unsuspecting customers, or their staff has no clue how to really ring up orders. I love what they have to offer here, but one thing that will ways lose my business 💯 is dishonest transactions and false pricing. Not worth the drive for the run around. Wish I could take back the tip I left too.
**9/21 Update: While VRev still holds a dear place in my ❤, I've been kinda disappointed. I was so looking forward to the sweet tater fries, & holy 🙊 are they good, but I thought for $6 I might get atleast a full containers worth & a full cup of chz (See photo) Didn't seem to exactly be a share size as the cashier told me. Often times the cashiers arent knowledgable on what the dish is made of when asked either. I like to know what Im eating. Would like to see improvements in these areas!
Original: Cant say enough good things about this gem! Their menu is so refreshing & is so SO tasty! Not to mention the food is always presented/packaged nicely! It's obvious they put care in the wonderful food they offer 🙌🏽🙏🏽 I tend to frequent various spots offering asian cuisine, as it's one of my favorite tastes, & I can say this spot is holding its own! Affordably priced menu w/ generous portions, such a friendly staff & def loving the healthy, fresh vibe! Thank you for the great experience, I look forward to...
Read moreAs a meat eater, I AM SO IMPRESSED! V Revolution is one of my absolute most favorite restaurants. I don't miss meat when I eat their food. Who knew veg/vegan could be so delicious?!
It's a great balance of immense flavors, perfect cooking, quality ingredients, and AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS satiating, complete meals. And SOOOO MANY OPTIONS! And friendly service.
My go-to favs: MONGOLIAN BEEF - how is this not meat? and how can there be this much flavor? Delicious blend of flavors and textures (with the veggies). It's not on their normal menu, so if you see it on their "specials" board, order it! You're welcome. ;) SWEET & SPICY KATSU BURGER - this is the best katsu I've ever has, such depth of flavor BEYOND DAN DAN NOODLES - so. much. flavor. Soooo yummy!
Other favorites: Bao Trio (pork belly is my fav) Katsu bao Orange chicken Beyond Kimchi dumplings Green Power dumplings V fries Braised Pork Belly rice bowl Ramen - the broth has good flavor and are better than most veg ramen broth, but if you're standard is traditional ramen cooked/flavored with meat/bones, you may be disappointed. Worth noting that the "pork belly" is sooo good. This ramen should hit the spot if you're in the mood for soup. Drunken noodles - yum
The following are good, but I prefer the other dishes and will prob not reorder: Pad Thai Peanut Tofu Noodle Bowl - although it's worth noting that the TOFU IS PERFECTLY fried & perfectly seasoned = absolutely delicious. Mushroom lovers dumpling - flavors dont pop like the others Katsu Bao - while I love each the katsu and bao separately, the combo is very dry and lack a balance of flavors and textures. This is my least favorite thing I’ve...
Read moreI’ve been ordering from this restaurant for a while and usually have no problems—the food is great. However, today I ordered the lo mein noodles, and they tasted like soap. When I called to let the restaurant know, I wasn’t looking for anything in return; I just wanted to make them aware. Coming from a customer service background myself, I believe in doing whatever possible to make things right, whether that means offering a replacement, helping the customer get a refund through Uber eats, or at the very least, sincerely apologizing. Nope nothing.
When I called at 1:35 p.m. on July 30th, I was simply referred to Uber and didn’t feel my concern was taken seriously. I was polite and explained that, above all, my main reason for calling was to inform them so no other customers had the same experience or got sick. Unfortunately, my message seemed to be dismissed.
I hope in the future, if a situation like this arises, the staff could listen, apologize for any mistake, and offer to help rectify it—whether that’s a refund, a replacement, or at least clear communication and concern for the customer’s well-being. Simple steps like these can turn a negative experience into a positive one, and keep loyal customers coming back.
I won't be ordering from them again, and I was a weekly...
