I've had a number of items framed by Anthology - from photos to artwork - and I would not hesitate to say that they're the best picture framers in Denver. The whole process runs so smoothly with them, and the end result is always flawless. Kendra and Zach are wonderful designers, which is essential because there are so many choices for mats and frames and the overall design of the piece that it would be overwhelming without their help. They seem to have a good understanding for the personality of each piece I bring in, and really understand how to emphasize what I love about that piece. I feel that it is so important to trust the people handling and framing my pieces - clearly, I wouldn't be framing something that didn't have meaning to me, so I've never felt comfortable leaving pieces with any of the chain-type stores (who usually aren't any less expensive anyway). I love that when I give something to Kendra or Zach, they will be taking my piece through the entire process and I know that it will be handled with care and respect. They are knowledgeable about preservation techniques, so I feel like between the classic design and the preservation, my framed pieces will be around for a long time. From pieces they've done for me and pieces I've seen them post on the web, they seem to really excel at taking family artifacts and making them interesting to display in your home. I love being able to enjoy objects and memories that are special to me on a daily basis instead of when I decide to dig them out of a closet. I would feel confident bringing them anything (even if it was irreplaceable or valuable) and knowing they will take care of it and give me a piece back that I love even more due to the framing. They have also always made sure that my pieces were finished on time, which was important as I've given multiple pieces as gifts for birthdays and holidays and have not always planned too far ahead. I'm thankful for the work Anthology has done for me and love supporting a local,...
Read moreI have worked with Anthology Fine Art on two projects that were very important to me. The first was museum quality matting and framing of a collection of 18 historical prints from the 1850s. The results were superb and the collection is admired by anyone who views it. I would like to think its just for the prints themselves, but I know that the selection of mats and frames, and the quality of framing work all greatly add to the viewing experience.
The second project was the mounting and framing of James C. Christiansen's The Royal Processional, a print from the 1st Limited Edition. The print is a beautiful object of art, now greatly enhanced by the framing artistry of Anthology Fine Art.
The technical work and aesthetic insight of Zach and Kendra immensely increased the pleasure of viewing the prints, and their efforts have created an investment grade art object.
I highly recommend their gallery, but especially for important pieces of work where you may have a concern about the framing process negatively impacting the value or the appearance of...
Read moreA very good artist friend and retired perfectionist framer directed me towards Zack and Kendra.
“Debra”, she said, “they are VERY GOOD!”
They are awesome to work, both in helping select frames, talking about multiple ways to frame a piece, and executing personal framing concept requests.
Zach’s craftsmanship in framing the art pieces and the numerous stretcher bars he’s built to expertly stretch painted canvases is outstanding. The pieces all show beautifully.
Along with being kind, honest, incredibly knowledgable and fun to work with, Kendra and Zach are truly gifted in their photography and art. Kendra is a superb and fun portrait photographer, capturing the personalities of her subjects in her pictures and through her photographic techniques. Zach’s art is amazing in it’s detail and subject matter. At times, his pieces are shown on the display shelves in the...
