I was supposed to receive a package, a cake, in two days to arrive on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We were following the GPS movement of the truck and the truck was represented as in our neighborhood. We waited until 10PM. The package was never delivered. We were told the package would be delivered on the Friday after thanksgiving. Again, we waited until 10 PM watching the truck. At one point, the GPS tracking showed the truck two doors away. We did not see a truck. I called the customer service and was assured the package would be delivered that day by end of day. It was not. On Saturday, we asked the package to be delivered to a UPS pick up point. We received conflicting electronic communication the package would be delivered between 1 and 3 then between 730 and 930. The pick up location was not be open at 730. The office is closed on Sunday. We received a notification on Monday the package was at the pick up location. I called the location and was told the package would be delivered on Tuesday. At this point, I called the vendor to ask for a refund. The vendor said they would send a replacement cake. I received no further communication until 12/10 at 1PM saying the package had been requested to be returned to vendor and I needed to pick it up. I called the UPS pick up location and was assured the package was at the store. I went to the store around 430 local time. I brought my ID. Initially I was working with one customer service representative who could not find the package. I was readying my ID because I had purchased the cake. I had it sent to my son. I did not know if the package was the original package or was the replacement package. A second customer representative popped up and said I could not have the package, although I had worked with the initial representative and had the electronic communication AND ID. She had placed the package with my son's name on the floor. I was not going to argue further, and I took the package. The second representative physically accosted me.. She told me I was an "old person without any sense". I told her to please call the police, and i gave her my name and phone number. She continued to PHYSICALLY accost me,. She followed me to my car and continually shut my car doors. I released the package and called 911. The police came and identified me and spoke with her. They accompanied me back in the store to retrieve my package. The second representative then made me wait in line again and instead of asking for ID, she asked me for the emails I had received. AFTER I had already given her my ID AND I had been identified by the police. At this point, I said I did not want the package because this was too much to retrieve a package. I am on my way to pick up the incident report filed with the police. The store was at 3531 S Logan Street, Englewood CO 80113. the cake at this point is over two weeks old and due to the mishandling of the second Representative damaged beyond repair and inedible. I am not sure what training methods utilized by UPS, but I highly suggest a review of them. If I had behaved in this manner in my employment, I would have been terminated immediately. it appears bad customer service is not only tolerated, but it appears to be par...
Read moreI had my packages to be dropped off there as an access point called the store a day ahead to let them know my packages would be coming called the following day to go pick up packages, they sent all my packages back to shipper the same day Fedex brought then into the store they had refused my packages? I was totally confused? As this was an access point I called asked to speak with a manager (Mary) I explained all this to Mary who preceeded to tell me it was a unfortunate mistake she would make right and to email her the information and she would try to get my packages returned back for me, needless to say this was not true she never answered my emails. I got back in touch with Macy's myself and was able to get the packages returned to my residence. I did have to go there to pick up one package and you could tell by the look on her face Mary she new exactly who I was when I said my name and gave her my ID. I could of made a ruckus about the horrible service I had received and the email never answered but what would be the point as I already know they did not care so I I chose the high road and just took my package and left and decided that I will never God willing never ever use this place they are playing incompetent or really are because as far as I can see they really do not like there job and customer service customer satisfaction is not something that this UPS store is striving for. I really waited a long time before even submitting this review but I really think you owe others the right to know the experiences you have with places good or bad hopefully it will allow the management the time if they truly do care about there customers to fix this problem issues to make it a more pleasant experience for not some but all. Thank...
Read moreBEWARE! THIS UPS LOCATION IS DISHONESTLY OVERCHARGING SHIPPING COSTS ($12.50) AND CLAIMING THEY ARE CHEAPER THAN THE POST OFFICE.($5.80) UPS quoted me $12.50 as the cheapest option, to ship one sheer blouse in a bubble wrap envelope ( 5.6 ounces) to Fort Collins. They claimed the high price for something so lightweight was because of the depth of the bubble wrap envelope. I said I could put the blouse into a regular, thin, Manila envelope and they told me it would be returned because I wasn’t shipping a letter or paper.I don’t know how anyone could know that. UPS employees adamantly maintained the post office would charge more and that affixing stamps to bubble wrap envelopes was not allowed. Frustrated, I decided to take my chances and go to the post office. The post office took my bubble wrap envelope and affixed the stamps I bought after leaving the UPS store. The post office shipped my item for $5.80. See attached receipt. When I stopped in at UPS to show them my receipt and let them know I knew everything they claimed was false, they kicked me out of the store. I realize it’s hard to be caught in a lie but this response was over the top. This unstable, employee was male with light brown hair and a beard. I am 61 years old and 5’ 2 weighing 130 lbs. I am not a threat to anyone. I told him it’s better to say you don’t know something than to respond with misinformation. Very disappointed. I was a pretty regular...
