I have visited Coal Creek Park on Sunday mornings over the past few years. It is usually a quiet place to sit and reflect while watching people bike and walk along the trail on the other side of Coal Creek. I also have enjoyed the wildlife (cottontail rabbits, red tail hawks, woodpeckers, squirrels) and friendly dogs that come to the park too. Big changes are ahead - the park is being completely redeveloped with modern amenities, more trees (163 to be planted), and a future connecting bridge over the creek. The plans look interesting - hopefully I will find a bench to sit on when the project is completed!

I live close to the park and luv to come here in the summer it's a great park that my dog loves to play fetch , at. But unfortunately a Erie cop stopped and informed us that the this is not a dog park and then dog park is up the street, well my dog an myself hate the dog park every time we are there she gets stickers in her paws, and she's terrified of other big dogs. Plus all the Mudd that is there. So now we can't even go to Harley's park AKA Coal Creek Park!!

Great place to take the kids for splash fun or playground with climbing apparatus my grandkids had a ball. The picnic area could have been cleared up better from previous birthday party but the rest was fun great

Love this park. New, clean bathrooms. Splash pad for kids with a playground right next to it. Great place to walk the dogs. Plenty of poop bags and trash cans around the park. There is also a trail that runs easy of the playground for even more exercise that leads to an 18 hole frisby golf course one direction or a dog park in the other direction, as you walk along the creek. Erie is a beautiful place to live...
