Willamette Christian Center — Attraction in Eugene

I'm actually leaving this review for my mother-in-law. She is disabled and unable to use a computer, she really enjoyed this church but found that she feels excluded due to the lack of ability to connect with anyone via phone. She lost her Bible recently at one of the church she was visiting and tried to call the office there, but every time she called all she got was a voice recording. To her this is really impersonal and makes her feel like these people who are supposed to be disciples don't actually care about part of their flock. I hope that the staff at this church will try to remember that there is still a generation of believers out there who struggle with recent technology and make an effort to be the hands and feet to more than just the young, hip crowd. I did look up their contact information, all there is, are emails to connect with each person. To find their phone number on their website you have to go down to the fine print at the bottom. She found the number the old fashioned way so was not aware that this was not the best way to connect. This is very sad, I pray that this would be remedied. People like my mother-in-law should be able to worship God, and connect with the leaders that He has called to teach, serve, and guide without having to have generational knowledge. The first day we have entered this church, we were welcomed in by such an amazing woman pastor Brenda, she showed such wonderful hospitality and just an amazing warmth of welcomeness. The service was an amazing experience as well lead by such a fantastic pastor, pastor van. He was amazingly energetic, and I love the way he puts so much emotion into his preaching. Me and my family fell in love with this church I love how everyone is so welcoming there is no judgement that I or my family has ever felt since attending. Also the kids ministry is amazing as well I was surprised at how my kids loved it and drew so much closer to God and Jesus, they have been reciting scripture to me and telling me how much they have learned, such an amazing teacher they have preaching to our children thank you, Andrea Leik for teaching my boys and also for baptizing my second oldest. The youth leaders as well have taught my oldest so much, he is always happy coming home and eager to tell me what he has learned, thank you Alana Moyer for being such an amazing teacher in my son's life. If you want to draw closer to God and Jesus please do consider attending this amazing church. I love you willamette family thank you for making us...

The best church I've ever been to bible believing people who are very excepting and not jugmental the pastor is someone who is very real and believes what he tells you and very funny the praise team of singers and the band are awesome and everyone is welcome. our church is involved with the community and everyone has a place in our church if they want in promoting the good news of Jesus christ it's a family of believers who love each other and lifts each other up were not perfect but...
