Very happy with the service I received here! The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to treat us well. Our Hisense TV stopped powering on so I took it in for a repair. After paying the nonrefundable $40 fee for the estimate, the owner gave me a reasonable quote for the repair and ordered the parts. When it was done it powered on properly, but showed the picture tube was damaged, which I believe was likely caused by the way I transported it. He not only didn't charge me for the repair, but let me apply the nonrefundable cost of the estimate toward the purchase of one of the used TVs for sale in his shop. For roughly the same price as I was going to pay for the repair, we ended up with a slightly better TV with a new backlight he installed himself. I also learned from the owner that Hisense TVs tend to be made with poor parts and are known to break after a few years of use, which I've also confirmed on internet forums. When I was looking at the options for a replacement TV he let me know which ones I could expect to last longer (TCL) and which were most reliable and would last the longest (Samsung). The used TV I purchased is also under warranty for a few months if it has any problems. I'll definitely be coming back here if I need any repairs or another TV in the future. He sells high quality televisions for much less than you'll buy new and can tell you not only how the picture quality compares, but how long they'll last—something you don't learn at Best Buy. Read moreTerrible at communication. They were sent thru Hisense because they apparently repair tvs. Last Tuesday I was called saying they would come out because they got the repair parts and would fix my tv and they could come the following day. Since I work normal business hours they came Saturday. On Saturday someone came out and poked the screen once then started pulling all the plugs and said he was taking it. That is my only tv and there was a race I was waiting for for 4 months since it was the first f1 race of the season so he said I need to bring it to their shop since I wanted to keep it. I was never informed they would need to take the tv until that day. So I asked “when will I get another tv since this is my only one and don’t want to be without one” and the guy who came out said I need to bring it to their shop and they will give me a certificate, then asked where I got it from, and said I’ll be able to go right over and get a new one. Alright no problem it’s near my work so I brought the tv in, who I think was the owner destroyed the screen then said he has no idea when I’ll get a new tv and it’s out of his hands now. I told him what his employee told me on Saturday regarding the certificate and he called his employee who then lied to him and me about what he said. The owner then followed it up by saying Hisense is a bad brand and I should have gotten a Toshiba or Samsung or LG.

Read moreMy Samsung stopped working and I didn't know whether the problem was with my power cord or my computer. A quick google search showed Cityview was the closet location. I took my laptop in along with a portion of my power cord. The gentleman plugged in my computer (after locating an adapter for my partial cord), saw the computer wasn't charging, and pronounced my mother board "dead." Now, mind you, I paid nothing for this diagnosis, and he didn't offer to fix it because he said it would likely be cheaper to get a new laptop, but thankfully I decided to seek out a second opinion. Practically around the corner, at VOS, another gentleman plugged in my computer using his own power cord...low and behold...my laptop was alive. Turns out the problem was, in fact, my power cord. Rather than buying a whole new computer I bought a new cord for $45. The funny thing is...the guy who discovered the problem isn't even in tech support, he was simply helping out at his sister's store while she...
