Okay, I have to update this post. We went in to pick up our pieces and the staff person apologized for our pieces being ruined. Unfortunately, someone's dish blew up in the kiln and ruined the finish on all the other pieces. They made no effort to make it right, which is tremendously disappointing, as we paid an extra $30 each to have them glazed. We should have at least received our money back for the glaze portion, but nada. Not even a discount for another class, or anything.

Just a half-hearted apology. We will not be back, as they are clearly more interested in grabbing our cash and less about the art form. Too bad!! Taking my pictures for this post down too, as I will not recommend them, based on the experience we had.

Additional update: Responding to the owner's response. No, my wife did not rush out of the store before providing your staff with an opportunity to make it right. Your staff just sat there looking blankly at her after they apologized and explained what happened. There were no options provided at all. Period. No, I did not rush to express my frustrations online immediately after this happened. I waited for about a week after the incident took place, reflected on what happened, and then decided to make the update.

If you look at my profile, I do not write bad reviews. I usually just keep it to myself and simply will not visit the place again; however, for this instance, I did believe it appropriate to revise my initial post based on the secondary experience we had. If you were truly interested in fixing this then you would reach out and initiate that discussion. Unfortunately, it really just appears that you are more interested in trying to discredit someone and their review....

I’ve taken two classes and signed up for another. The second class was for glass fusing. They lost my paper and that of someone else I brought to the class despite filling out the slip and paying for upgrades. With the latest class I was trying to sign up for a Saturday class that ended up being cancelled when I went back to complete the transaction after a friend confirmed she could go. I did not notice the date difference. I emailed and called to cancel my spot after I had shown up to the class that was no longer and my friend confirmed she couldn’t do the other date. They stated they charge to change the date despite knowing this was all a mistake due to the Saturday class being cancelled. I try to support small business, but expect small businesses to not penalize customers when things go wrong. There are either studios out there with more organization and better customer service. Business wrote back I threatened them and I did not. They spoke to me when I presented for a class that was cancelled. They knew there was a mixup and mandated I pay more to change the class anyway. Due to this inflexibility and penalty I said I was going to write a negative review. They have been reported to the AG for their allegations of threats and stating my review was illegal. This is a RED FLAG. They don’t care about repeat business or your experience. They did not try to work anything out. The response posted is...

If I could give negative stars, I would. 💔This place has serious issues with pricing transparency, customer service, and professionalism.

First, the pricing was misleading. We were only informed of Extra fees after the session had already started, and without paying them, we wouldn’t be able to keep our work. This lack of upfront information was frustrating and felt unfair.

Second, Jay was SO RUDE to customers. when we declined to pay the extra fee, Jay’s attitude changed drastically. He refused to let us use the dryer, which was essential for the session, and even knocked into my finished piece. When I calmly asked him to be careful, he suddenly raised his voice and SHOUTED at us. He asked us never come back again.

Plus, the instructor Jay’s behavior made us very uncomfortable. Despite us speaking English from the moment we walked in, he repeatedly questioned whether we could understand English just because we look Asian.

Overall, this was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a respectful and...

One of the best family time we ever spent on my 2 kid's birthdays, just us family. The studio practices safe social distancing, masks at all times, and you know it other clients give you space. It's great place to bring your whole family at this studio. It will lower your stress level, calm your family down, interesting, great birthday outing for family, fun, design something, play with it, and let it bake, and then take it home for memory, you made it, share your story, what inspired you, you cherish it for life, take some photos inside the studio, they have great teachers, make you feel welcome. I took my family one Saturday last Dec 2020 for Glass Infusion. I think I had more fun than my kids. See raw photos of pre-infused art. We each made something from heart. If you want to know how it turned out when it's infused, then you give it a try, take your family for a session, and see the result of your artistic mind. We loved it, and were very impressed of the results, and now planning to book a family session on Pottery. Thank You all.

My bestie surprised me with a 90 min pottery class taught by Angela. We got to make a bowl from a lump of clay! It was super fun! The instructor was excellent! She made the entire experience relaxing and enjoyable. Aprons are provided but the clay did wash out of my clothes (I’m a bit messy). Part instruction is through video and also hands on. We formed our bowls, dried them, and then did glaze painting. I believe it was an extra $30/piece for painting them but I could be wrong. I’m not sure how much the class costs since it was a gift from my friend. I would definitely love to do this again and I can’t wait to see my finished creation. We made the drive up from Puyallup and it was fun! Angela made the experience even better. She is patient and kind. She would be great with kids I would think. Thank you Angela! I hope you get to read this and get a raise too! You deserve it! ☺️ The studio has 2 large bathrooms and there is plenty of parking. Check the official website or Groupon for deals.
