Burlington — Local services in Everett

It looks like the store is going out of business. I have been to this store three times. The first time was about 9 months ago, was a lot of fun, I just stumbled in to the store and it was clean, huge, great selection of odds and ends and fast checkout.

All down hill from here. I’ve been back to this location twice, both times were just disappointing. The store has been blocked off to about 2/3 of original size. As for my most recent experience, yesterday (a Saturday) we were there mid day. You would think this would be an expected busy time. They seemed to have a lot of staff standing around doing odds and ends by the doors or just talking with each other ext. But they only had one checkout kiosk open. They had multiple checkers, but they have two separate checkout areas, one at each door, but only one was staffed. There were more people waiting in line to leave than were actively shopping. This waste of my time will be the reason I won’t be shopping here anymore.

On my second visit it took them about 45 minutes to ring me out, but being the end of the day and having everyone going at once, I gave them a pass; but after two times in a row, and in the middle of the day on a weekend and spending over 30 minutes to get two items, this is a deal breaker for me. I fell in the store and not one employee came to help! Other customers did. Then no employees were around so I left. I then went back to the store because when I fell some items I bought from another store flew out of my bag and I didn't notice til I got home. I went to look around the spot I fell and didn't see anything so I then asked an employee and they acted like they didn't want to help me. I had to ask her several times if she could ask the other cashier's or supervisors because anyone could have turned in the items. She came back and said nothing was turned in. I then told her of the fall and I HAD TO ASK HER if there was a report or something I needed to fill out. She said yes then took about 20 minutes to bring me a faded piece of paper. I filled it out and asked her for a copy. She then came back and said the copy machine didn't work. Then said someone would be calling me and it's now been about 3 months and not one phone call!!! Oh by the way I got a call later that day saying they found my items that I dropped when I fell. I cannot believe I did not get not one call to see if I was ok or anything. Went there today to grab a few items. The store was super organized and clean per usual. However, I went to the line and saw that the line 5 light was on, I was the only person in line as the other cashier was helping another customer and I saw another cashier hanging clothes so I figured she was doing that between customers. Anywho I went to line 5 and was ignored she finally turns around and tells me it was closed. I said well the light is on and she says sorry we are closed. No other choice I had was to wait for the other cashier to be done with her current customer. She was super friendly: I turned over and see the same cashier who told me her pane was closed helping another customer in at a different register. I'm so confused about why she just didn't help me go to the other register. She just dismissed me like she didn't want to serve me. I'm disgusted and honestly...
