I initially gave this salon a five star rating two weeks ago. I returned last week and had my nails done by Tim. I had wanted Cathy;but was told she was on vacation š Tim and the woman who did my pedicure were amazing. Today i returned because my nail on the left index finger was cracked. I walked in behind two teenager girl who both were getting full sets . I was asked by a woman in the front what I needed I explained my nail was cracked. She replies Tim the big guy did your nails right? I said yes, she says he'll be in tomorrow! That was the first insult. I said oh, well I can't wait until tomorrow to have it fixed. I showed her the issue. She asked if I knew the color which I had previously. There were only 3 women working in the shop. One last in all black had a client that was finishing up. I sat in the waiting area and was told a couple of minutes. It didnt feel like the warm inviting salon I had showed up to twice before getting my nails and spa pedicures done back to back and tipping well. It felt rude and unwelcoming. The woman in black could've taken me and fixed it ,but she walked right past me and took the other full set. I waited for quite some time realizing they would have me wait until they were done both full sets not informing me of anything else. I do not think I deserve special treatment or that I should be first. However, it was a quick buff. And a top coat and me in the light. The acrylic was not cracked so I left.I went to the salon in the same shopping center . The male tech buffed the nail put on a top coat put my had in the light and charged me three dollars. I was in and out in 4 mins. I tipped him 20 dollars. For a three dollar job. His salon was packed. He saw the issue he had a client he fixed it quickly and still went to work on his airbrush client. Maybe the women at Bliss thought I wouldn't tip them. But I'll never come back. Definitely wasnt blissful. Maybe they still have the same problem they said Pam had. No dark people. Dont worry this dark one wont ever come back. Luckily nail salons are on every corner. Maybe instead of bashing Pam and the previous owner Tracy you should take a look...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am 100% shocked that I got charged what I did for what was supposed to be an enjoyable experience with my young daughter. I wanted a manicure and pedicure and although they were very kind to take us on short notice. I got charged $90 for two basic pedicures and two manicures, one without nail polish. My daughter is 5 years old. All they did was paint her nails. Nothing else and although I didnāt want a full manicure for her, charging that much because she chose 5 different colors because she loves rainbows is ridiculous. And then charging me for a full manicure was ridiculous as well considering I was still sitting in the chair (and yes I understand why, so I wouldnāt be away from my daughter, and thank you) but I had already decided not to get one and they insisted and gave me a sorry excuse for a manicure. I still had cuticles that needed trimming. The experience for $90 did not match up.
I will be reporting this to the better business bureau.
My advice to you is to charge for the services you give because I get that you must be in need of business judging by the upkeep of the salon but price gouging customers isnāt how youāre...
Read moreI came in one evening and first of all no greeting as i walked in , i had to walk up to a nail tech to inquire about a service. It was about 4pm. Closing was 7 & they told me no they werent taking any walk ins because they were about to close. Ok ! So ive never in my life felt like i was discriminated against because im black but this day i know for sure ⦠why ? Oh because i was on the phone with a friend who is white and she was upset at their service and what i had experienced so she said give me their number & so i did. She called them and asked if she could walk in because she was in the area they told her yes to come in now. She talks like a valley girl and she advised me that they were indeed racist and do not waste my time or spend my monies in this establishment . My feelings were truly hurt because i treat everyone the same and im a professional nurse with class and respect and i was still discriminated against. So sad....
