They had a wait but yet there were a ton of open tables. The host was polite but didn't seem to know what was really going on. She also might have just been having on off day. The wait was supposed to be 15 minutes but they ended up getting us in sooner. This was better than waiting longer than expected. They sat us directly next to the prep station which is a sight for soar eyes. The smell from the glasses on the table was really smelly. It was an odd smell but kind of smelt like they cleaned the glass cups with sea water. As far as the view an open kitchen concept is great if you keep it clean, that was not our experience. Our services was subpar over all. He took our drink order and seemed to just run away without asking if we need or wanted an appetizer or if we knew what the children wanted. Once the drinks came out one was forgotten. We reordered the drink 2 other times and he finally brought it out after the food was on the table and we flagged him down. The food is very over priced for the quality and overall experience my family experienced. We will give this place another try (just because they did just open recently). Our first impression was not the best but hopefully they will improve in the future. Recommendations: spend more time on your restaurants cleanliness, train your staff to work together better.

We decided to come here for a family breakfast after a hard weekend. When we entered the staff were all super friendly and included a high chair for our 10 month old. They also provided a coloring sheet and crayons for him to play with. We began with her getting the campfire coffee and I got the blended smoothie plus avocado toast to share. The smoothie was a great blend of fresh fruits where no one fruit overtook the others. The toast was a nice thick piece of toast with avocado and slices of tomatoes with seasonings on it. I ordered the shrimp omelet with mushrooms. What I did not expect was the shrimp to be cocktail shrimp sized. They were large, juicy, and very very fresh. They were worked into the omelet perfectly where the cheese and other meats melted together. The waiter was extremely friendly making sure we and our son were all good on a consistent basis. The only complaint I would have is the men's bathroom had 1 stall and 1 urinal. During a slow period this won't be too much of an issue but I could see it becoming a problem during a rush. That and there was no paper towels only the air dryer. I know this is for environmental reasons but just wanted to state this. Overall it was a fantastic time and food was amazing. I would definitely come back here again.

My 4 year old and I stopped in for breakfast for the first time. We were greeted kindly and promptly seated. I had a hard time deciding what to get because there were plenty of good choices. My son quickly selected the Daisy Cakes (5 silver dollar pancakes with strawberries and bananas in the side) from the kids menu. Eventually I went with the key west shrimp omelette (shrimp, avocado, bacon, tomato, cilantro, jack cheese) with potatoes on the side and a pumpkin pie chai. My son's pancakes looked good, they had nice crispy edges and the fruit looked fresh. My omelette was delicious and had plenty of nice sized shrimp. Even the potatoes were good! They didn't look too seasoned, so I was skeptical, but they actually still tasted good. They were browned nicely and had the a fair amount of onions and peppers. Perfect with the Sriracha sauce. The pumpkin pie chai was very tasty and not too sweet. Our server was great. They didn't have any crayons for the kids menus so he let my son borrow his pen. He checked on us frequently. I was pleased with the service. The manager also checked in to make sure we were happy as well. I'd definitely return because I have my eye on the Nola sweet and spicy shrimp hash for lunch.

My husband and I love to go to Turning Point, and we have been going for years. With that being said, we just had a horrible experience at the Marlton Turning Point which completely shocked us both. I ordered half salad and half sandwich. When it was given to us, I had the half salad, but the sandwich was 2 halves instead of 1. The guy who gave us our food left rather quickly because it was busy as usual, and I didn't get a chance to mention anything about the 2 halves. I proceeded to eat. The waitress checked on us a few minutes later, and then about 2 minutes after that, the manager, Kim, came over to me and said, "you ordered half and half, correct?" I responded that I did, but was given two halves of the sandwich. She explained to me that's not what I ordered, and made it seem like she was going to charge me more since a mistake was made on their end. I responded by saying, "You can take one half of the sandwich, but I bit this half." I said this almost in a joking manner, as the food was already at my table and touched by me. Kim responded by saying, "hmmmmmm," looked around, walked away, grabbed a napkin, AND PROCEEDED TO TAKE HALF OF THE SANDWICH OFF OF MY PLATE, then walked away. I was so shocked and so was my husband. Then I became a little agitated after I thought about it more. I thought.... what are you going to do with that? Serve it?! (Wow, that's a little scary), Have someone in the back it eat? (Yikes, gross), Or are you that bad of a manager that you are just throwing it away because you don't want me to benefit from a mistake made on the restaurants end. I am thinking that my husband and I will not be returning to Marlton's Turning Point. Very...

Went here for brunch, which was about 10:45AM. The atmosphere was relaxing, subtly whimsical because of the way the room flow together and the many slightly different decorations (there is a cool sideways ceiling fan in one of the rooms). The wait staff was friendly and helpful, and the meals were made pretty fast for a restaurant like that.

As for the food, the meals seem to walk the line between subtle, complex flavor, and having no taste at all. I ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich, and my girlfriend ordered waffles. Each came with a side of potatoes. Now those potatoes were fantastic! They had perfect texture and were well seasoned, not too salty as many are. Her waffles were very middle-of-the-road. The syrup provided was that proper natural maple syrup, which was cool. waffles are waffles though, not much to expect. My breakfast sandwich left much to be desired. The bread was very normal for a sandwich, lacking any unique texture despite the bread being visibly toasted. The tomatoes had no flavor, just tomato texture. The strongest flavor was the pickled onions, which were delicious. I could pick them out well, like navy blue on a black wall. The beyond sausage was just heated out of the package with nothing else going on. (not that they had to do that but I had expected them to season it if that was the only flavor besides pickled onions.

The prices were not too crazy for the atmosphere and location, but is not really worth it for what really amounted to diner quality food. Maybe they know how to make a mean egg, but Turning Point would, while not my last resort, never be...

The only reason I am giving this place two stars and not one is because the food was pretty good. We went today, 11/13, and it was a busy Sunday morning. We were told the wait was going to be 10-15 minutes for a table but ended up waiting about 35 minutes, totally fine they're busy. We then went to our table and the last tip was still on the table, cash and signed receipt. It's weird to seat a table when the last one's tip is still there. The menus we were handed were dirty and scribbled on in crayon. Additionally the water pitcher our table was given was dirty, having hardened egg on the outside and my cup was dirty. I asked for a new cup, and didn't even realize the outside of the pitcher was dirty until we had already drank from it. The waitress refilled the dirty one and then proceeded to hand it back, we just didn't drink anymore water. Additionally some of our silverware was dirty and when we got our drinks, only after our food was brought there was a huge lipstick stain on the outside of the mug. I just sent the drink back and didn't even bother getting another. The mug had to go through the dishwasher, the person making the drinks, and our waitress and it still came out with the huge lipstick stain. Not only were we not offered an apology at any point from the server, someone was going around to each table asking how everything was, I'm assuming it was the manager, and conveniently skipped our table after all of the dirty dishes we sent back. Needless to say we will...
