Let me first start off by saying Fred [the owner] has some wonderful customer service. I called at 4:59 not knowing they closed at 5:00 and he told me to come, knock on the door, and he'd take care of me.

It was a simple watch battery replacement for an old family heirloom Movado watch. Time After Time [the place in the quakerbridge mall] quoted me $32 for a battery replacement and $62 for the sealant. Fred did it all for $8 and in less than 15 minutes.

I'll be sending anyone I meet who needs jewelry or repairs to him. He's been doing it for a LONG LONG time, and his confidence in his craft...

I can't speak highly enough of Fred at Colavita Jewelers. We got our wedding bands here, and he was excellent to work with from start to finish. When he accidentally made a math error and gave us a lower price, he honored the price. When we procrastinated picking up our rings and realized last minute that mine didn't fit, he rushed to get it resized and coordinated with my bridesmaid to get the ring to her, even though it would be past his usual closing time. Beautiful job replacing a large (1/3 carat) diamond on my old family ring. Noticed that one of the side diamonds was broken and showed me through a loop that it was. Fred gave me three different quality diamonds, at three similar price points to choose from, staying within the original price range quoted. Polished and cleaned a 75-year-old ring. It came out perfectly gorgeous! Fred was great to deal with. Would definitely recommend...
