Sanctuary Salonspa Excelsior — Attraction in Excelsior

BEWARE: this salon steals money from you right in front of your face. Casey was very nice & personable however, I left with wet hair- a greasy scalp because the conditioner wasn’t fully washed out & knots in my hair. I was charged $5 for my station being sanitized, which was an absolute joke since this should be done anyways without charging a fee, other salons do not charge their guests for this & blame it on the CDC. I had to call 4 TIMES before Cheri the manager answered the phone to schedule a haircut and then TWICE to cancel my next app. leaving voicemails each time. I requested a call back but I doubt I will get one! Salon was dead with only one other person getting a hair cut on a Saturday…which says a whole lot. At checkout I was charged $5 MORE for my quoted service that Cheri quoted me over the phone- yet proceeded to overcharge me when I was paying & when I asked for the total including tip she said her computer was a black screen so she couldn’t see the total…WOW, TALK ABOUT SHADY. It has been my third time here at Sanctuary Solan in Excelsior seeing Nicole. It has been a process trying to fix what two other salons in Excelsior that botched my hair badly. Nicole has successfully brought my hair back to life and done it in a way where my hair was not stressed at all and looks absolutely fabulous! I highly recommend her. She takes her time to listen and hear exactly what you want. We knew it was going to be a process with my hair because of what the other salons had done. My hair finally has beautiful coloring and highlights. I do not have the time to the salon very often so Nicole worked on getting my hair to a state where if grays start peaking in the coloring that she has done blends them perfectly so it looks like a beautiful balayage....

I paid almost $300 for a cut and color. The color was great and the cut looked good. Then the next day I went to put my hair half up and one side of my hair was visibly longer than the other. I called to ask when I could come back in for a fix and I was told 2wks. However we had family photos before then and we’re going to be out of town for a vacation so I really needed my hair fixed. I said it would only take 15 mins tops and I was told I needed to wait or go with another stylist that I would need to PAY for! Mistakes happen and that is fine but the way this was dealt with it...
