2nd Chance Resale — Attraction in Fairfield

I walked in to the store with my two children, aged 17 and 5 years. My 5 year old son was looking at a bracelet on a table. The sales clerk rudely yelled at him from behind the counter that she had worked "all day" on fixing that table. My 17 year old told him to put the bracelet down and came over to tell me what happened. (I had heard what the clerk said, but didn't realize it was directed at my son at that time) My five year old was embarrassed and extremely upset about being yelled at in front of everyone and said, "I wasn't doing anything wrong mommy, I was just looking at a pretty bracelet." I told him it was okay and that no, he hadn't done anything wrong. I then announced loudly that we would be leaving the store and would NEVER return again. Very poor customer service and after reading the review before mine, it's apparently the normal thing...

Tacky, rude, unprofessional....need I say more! I went in with 2 boxes of fine China. The lady behind the register said we don't take China, you would have known that if you would have went to our website. Not expecting that response I was taken aback but felt the need to defend myself. So I stated Im clearly out my mother's belongs and I've been in contact with several consignment shops so I must be getting them confused (which is true). The entire time Im talking she proceeds to speak over me and get louder. Don't consign your clothes here. They will cheat you!!! A few years ago I consigned some shoes with them. They moved during that period to their current location. Once they reopened I went to check on my items. All were there except for one pair that they sold and an expensive pair of Michael Kors shoes. Ironically their system said that these shoes were still available, but they could not be found. Then I was told that they were probably donated. I guess they thought I was stupid. No restitution was made by owner. I have no doubts someone took my shoes. But let this be a warning!!! Don't patronize these people or consign with them. I have read similar stories...
