It's crazy how people post negative reviews and state there are 'racist' items being sold at this ANTIQUE mall. Those people must not pay attention to HISTORY and the artifacts that go along with HISTORY. These are the type of people that want to get a rise out of people and CAUSE PROBLEMS!! There is NOTHING that should be considered OFFENSIVE that I saw being sold. If you don't like something that symbolizes our nations HISTORY, don't buy it!! Negative reviews should not be posted over this. EVERY SINGLE antique mall that I've been to, and I've been to alot, all have this same type of memorabilia!! So maybe those that are against pieces of HISTORY being sold shouldn't go to an ANTIQUE mall! This particular antique mall is my favorite so far!! They have so much!! Plan on spending hours and as others have stated...wear comfy shoes 😆 we are actually traveling back there today!! Something to do on a rainy day! (Or any day!!) I would also like to comment on the reviews stating how long it takes to get through the checkout lines. Yes, it takes awhile especially if you visit on a busy day. It's an antique mall, with 100s of booths, so if customers are making purchases from multiple booths (which is usually what happens at an antique mall/flea market, etc) there's all the different booth #s, etc for the over 100s of sellers!! PLUS... the employees are taking their time to PACKAGE/WRAP items purchased so that they make it to their new homes safely!! THAT SHOULD BE APPRECIATED, not complained about!! Quit being haters and appreciate these wonderful...
Read moreI bought around $300 in Lego, but 9 minifigs are fake which I wasn't aware of and asked if I could simply return them, and of course they won't let me, when all they would have to do is simply put them back in the same case, it's from the same vendor, I planned on eventually returning and buying other things but I'm not sure now if they can't take returns from the same vendor selling fake Lego without a sign letting customers know they are fake lego and felt rushed therefore couldn't actually check and see if they were real. I spent a lot of money and was planning on coming back, and if I knew I couldn't return items I would of taken my time, instead of feeling rushed, and on top of all of that I actually bought 20 of the fake minifigs and only asking to return 9. I also bought bags full of Lego for $7 a piece and have found a decent amount of fake Lego in those bags too.
To add to what your guys response was. The fact he's selling fake minifigs for $6 a piece is crazy, considering you guys had another vendor selling real Lego figs for $2. I just feel robbed by the guy. And it's not like I'm trying to return all 20. Same with the $7 bags of Lego, they clearly say all Lego but have found multiple mega block pieces in just 2 bags. Spent $300 on what I thought was real Lego, which would have been a good price but half of it isn't real Lego and feel robbed for a good $100. Maybe try to get a hold of the fake minifigs guy and try and make it right with me, and il gladly come spend more money at your store for birthdays...
Read moreGood god. So many booths... so many booths (550!)
My wife and I drove from Columbus to here just to shop for 4 hours. We walked out with some good bargains, but you really have to hunt for them. What one booth may have for $25 you may find the same item for $10 somewhere else. Lots of very, very well curated booths with a theme. Not a lot of "junk" booths like you see in some other Antique malls. Everything was clean and organized. We spent about $100 overall and had a cart full of stuff.
Checkout was good, they wrap items for you, but the actual slow part was not that, rather the odd way they record vendors tags. Maybe a webcam to take pictures overhead vs. the tape to a physical sheet of paper method. They could then email the reports to the vendors. Lots of time just spent moving a label from one thing to another.
One thing they need to invest in is some humidifiers though. While the temperature was right, the air was far, far too dry. We both were very dehydrated by the end of the trip, and all we did was walk around. They do have a small "cafe" but it takes cash only. Prices seem fair, but it is a very simple menu.
Also, if you pay attention there are booths with sales. Some might also have a number to call to get an...
