This is a 2 part rating. #1 We were seated quickly. The server was knowledgeable and took time to answer questions and checked on ingredient question. Food came out hot. We were brought containers, a bag and the check in a quick amount of time. Server was nice, and friendly. This should get a 5 star.
#2 Water glass was dirty. Then 2 pcs. of silverware and a plate were dirty. Appetizer I asked about was no longer available but hadn't been taken off menu. When salad arrived the server told us "I owe you cheese because I ran out" but never brought it. After our order was placed, I ordered a drink. Our food came, but was short my meal, and the missing drink was asked about. All you can eat stuffed pasta was 6 ravioli at a time. Served in a huge bowl it looked pitiful. Mozzarella appetizer was soggy. I think our server went on a break because 3/4 through the meal she brought my drink and I was told to enjoy. The server came back to ask how the drunk was. I asked if it had been sitting a while because the drink was to have a milkshake like consistency, but was thin like milk. Server told me it was just made, that the bartender probably didn't put enough ice cream in it and offered to have it remade. I declined the offer since we were close to being done and didn't want to wait longer. I don't think that the manager was aware of all the issues since she never came by the table. The bill was placed on the table from the ramp side as our server walked down the ramp, not next to the table and wasn't on a tray or in a book (not sure of the method used to deliver check) curled up and the person paying has trouble seeing and couldn't find it amongst the clutter. #2 should receive a 1 star.
Side note: We had missed the lunch rush and there were many servers standing around. I watched as the manager walked over to a group that had been seated awhile. She asked if "anyone had been over yet?" No was the reply and she apologized and went back towards the kitchen. 4 servers came out, one carrying something (which realized it was her table and she did look surprised by not knowing it had been sat), one of the other servers offered to get the drink order while the item being carried was delivered.
With all the servers standing around the restaurant looked very busy and crowded back where we were seated. As we left having to weave our way through the people I realized that it was mainly servers and not customers...
Read moreFood is always great, however I cringe whenever my boyfriend and I sit at the bar and Jessica is working.
The first time Jessica ever took our food/drink order she was very stand offish and we had to inquire for everything. Whether it was silverware, refills, etc. We disregarded the fact she was a tad bit rude, but the second time we went to olive garden and sat at the bar with her servicing us was a deal breaker!
My boyfriend and I will NEVER come to this location again, which is unfortunate because we live locally and have to travel much further to get to another one. The restaurant had a wait so we decided to sit at the bar. We were the only ones there. We patiently waited for her to acknowledge us (I guess she was organizing her bar area). After about 5 minutes she finally said "what do you want". Not only is that an unprofessional way to ask for our drink order, but she said (I say "said" instead of "asked" for a reason) it in a VERY rude and unwarming tone. We brushed it off and told her what we wanted, and explained to her how we wanted to eat at the bar because of the wait time.
She gave us our drinks and we asked for a couple menus. She threw 2 menus our way and I was completely shocked at that moment. How could anyone be so rude? Not to mention the fact her job is all about customer service. We tried to shake it off, but as another Ccouple sat down she brightened up and was EXTREMELY polite and warming. Suggested appetizers, gave silverware, handed them food menus, engaged in conversation, the whole 9. At this point my feelings were kind of hurt. We both felt judged the moment we sat down and now it was totally clear that she didn't want us there. I know I shouldn't let these things get to me, but I just couldn't help it. We got up and left without ordering any food. I will never I repeat...
Read moreThis was one of the worst dining experiences that my husband and I have ever had at an Olive Garden. If I could give a lower rating I would! This was also our first time dining at this location and it will be our last as well!
First of all, the comments about the terrible smell are correct. It’s very musty smelling and the restaurant itself is in need of some updates and repairs and seems to be an older Olive Garden unlike the newer redesigned ones.
However, the service by far was the worst! We received our appetizer without appetizer plates. So, we had to flag down the hostess to bring them for us. Then we waited over 20 minutes just for our bread and salad to be delivered but when Toni our server brought it to us we had to ask her for salad plates this time. Then after our entrees arrived we never seen her again for more refills or a to go box or a check or anything. So, we waited again for service and finally we just requested to see a manager with another server that never came out to see us.
So, my husband paid for our bill at the table but we never received our receipt either so we were still continuing to wait for help. Then our server reappeared and seemed to be upset with us because we had asked for a manger and she was discussing it with another server. Then she told us she had been busy with another table trying to get their checks in order but that doesn’t excuse her for not attending to us as well! She then walked away and was making more remarks while she was trying to print a receipt for us.
Overall this restaurant has no regard and respect for their customers! We left there very upset with the lack of concern and just a terrible experience! It was a complete waste of our...
