The screen/movie quality no complaints, HOWEVER this location needs a remodel BAD. The seats are cloth and they are dingy/ worn. When I sat down before my movie began, as shown in photos, there was already trash/food left behind in the row in front of me presumably from the previous movies which leaves me to believe they don't clean efficiently after each movie. After the movie I went to the restroom and literally every stall had something in the toilet and most unpleasant. They do have toilet seat covers thankfully. The tiles/ flooring in the bathroom is all cracked up so def not the most welcoming atmosphere. Theater is decent overall, just don't recommend touching anything while you're there and disinfect your clothes when you get home.

Buy your tickets online through Regal or Fandango and use your Regal Crown Card freebies and discounts. Since covid, the movie theater experience just isn't the same. It kinda sucks, as we would go for the atmosphere, but it's nice at the same time. No more long lines and you can literally sit wherever you like. We've been many times since covid, there has never been more than 20 in the movie with us. We go on TUESDAYS as it's $5 day ALL DAY! For standard viewing of course. If the movie you're wanting to see offers SCREEN X get on that! It's awesome and for $8 it's definitely worth it. You won't be disappointed! We've watched Avatar, Godzilla minus1, the newest Kong x Godzilla, Wonka and more. In my opinion it's better than IMAX.

Save yourself! Go to Vacaville or Vallejo. This movie theater hasn't been updated since it opened 20 plus years ago when it was an elite movie theater. Its disappointing as all the other theaters in Solano County have been upgraded and not this one.. All the seats have nasty stains and are blackened. All the arm rests are broken and don't sit where they should. Or the red velvet is ripped open. The floor is so sticky that you hear and feel every step you take. And it smells. Just like old and stale. Theres minimal staff. No human to buy tickets from. And no one to provide 3D glasses when you enter. You have to wait at the concession stand. So if you decide to go here show up in plenty of time.

I haven't been out to see a movie in a theater for a very long time, so it was nice to get out with my family. I have never been to this theater before but it doesn't seem much different than any other I've been to in the past. I will say the employees are very nice, but of course like all theaters the snacks are over priced, but I splurged and bought a couple things. However I did notice later after getting home and looking at the receipt that they over charged me for my nachos. Anyway the movie was pretty good I guess, we saw The Secret Life of Pets. Before the movie started there were a lot of trailers, I like trailers but after awhile I was getting irritated and wondering when they would stop. I had someone in back of me and well you know how that goes with the ocassional bumping of the back of the chair. But the thing that bothered me the most was how loud they had the audio...I mean it was SUPER LOUD, I had to put tissue in my ears and cover them with my hands most of the movie. Pretty sure this is an issue in most theaters today with the audio levels being too loud....In my opinion it's a form of hearing abuse. Plus I have sensitive hearing and other ear issues so that made it even worse. But even my 17 yr old son said it was uncomfortable for him too. If I go to the movies in the future I will wear ear plugs or something or just don't go I guess. Hopefully something will be done about this at some point. Hate to think so many ppl are getting their hearing damaged. Sorry I know this is a long review but I had to voice how I...

The employees aren't really at the counter most of the time and you have to wait for any type of service. If they are at the counter, there's only one person usually. Regal stopped doing refills and they don't tell you before you buy a drink, which is not going to work out well for them. I found it rude of management to change this rule suddenly. It's going to backfire.

Also, they need to not sell tickets to seats that are already reserved. My wife is disabled and we go very often, buying our tickets online. Twice there've been people in our seats and it makes it very uncomfortable to have to tell people they need to leave because you paid for that seat they are trying to steal. They are entitled to seating, but not stealing someone else's. It's really unnecessary that this is allowed. It makes it difficult to enjoy the experience. People need to be made aware that certain seats are already reserved before they showed up. There's a reason I pay the extra fee to book ahead.

Also, when booking online, we've tried to book for our friend to join us and they don't allow handicapped seats to be booked together since there's a space so it's just added hassle. We're a group and accompany a disabled person. We shouldn't have to do extra work to book more than anyone else. That's ridiculous.

I will say this: their staff are very nice people overall and they've been very accommodating besides this. They just really need to work on...

Edwards Cinemas, run by Regal Entertainment, is located in the Solano County Mall near Best Buy. It has had luxury advantages over most theaters in Solano County for more than 20 years.

For all these years discerning movie-goers are known for driving past theaters like Century theaters to see their favorite releases at Edeards, myself included. I feel like better sound quality is one of the more obvious advantages, and then there is the fact that they have 16 screens, 3D capable and some of which are loosely classified as IMAX standard.

Until recently, well... late 2017 I believe, local Cinemark/Century theaters have had cramped and uncomfortable seating, where you had to choose between moving arm rests or slight reclining seats by alternating by row.

I dropped Edwards' review to 4 stars, as they have good seating, but it needs updating, as Century locations have dramatically upgraded ALL seats to feature imitation leather with motorized recline features and a raising leg rest.

That said... I still drive past these updated Century locations for my favorite film releases when I know the improved sound quality will...
