The shrimp linguine was absolutely dry, and the whole thing looked as if it was just microwaved. The actual seafood was delicious, but the sides were all dried out and the rice was hard. I've been in customer service/food service for 10 years and because of that i rarely venture out tp restaurants or fast food, due to the fact i know that most places buy cheap things and sell them overpriced, and if you come at the wrong time the food will not be made with any amount of love. Along with terrible dried out, disgusting food that is leaving my stomach in knots as i write this. The server had his long finger nail touching our "salads" which just looked like the wilted leftovers of a sad lettuce. I'm truly disgusted by everything i saw, except for the cheesy bread and the raspberry iced tea. Even their alcoholic drinks did not seem all that great. Anyways I'd like to add, I've not ever had a terrible experience like this before here. Maybe it's because we came around 9 and everyone was ready to leave already. Maybe all the workers were so high they just didnt care, or maybe i just like my own cooking better and was not happy to even be in the restaurant when i had a good meal i had already preped at home. Whatever the reason or combination of, i would give this less than a 0 if i could. And it was a birthday meal for my fiance that his brother paid for. I feel so bad he wasted 1c on...
Read moreThis review is specifically for the crew that was on duty on Father’s Day, June 18. Our party partially arrived there a bit before 5 pm. When I checked in, the hostess told us that they weren’t able to accommodate more than 8 at the time. However, I knew that our party was going to swell up to about 10 (later realized we were actually 11 total.) I said that it was ok, we could just get another table for the rest. I understood it was a particularly busy day and I did not want to be a jerk customer. The hostess (I wish I got her name-my apologies) then said she WOULD try to accommodate us this time, it was Father’s Day, and it wouldn’t be right if we had to be separated. I thanked her profusely. We were led by a very courteous young man, who engaged me in light conversation on our way to our seats toward the back of the restaurant. Again, I forgot his name. Our waiter was as attentive as he could be, even during a busy holiday, even as our party was bigger than it should have been. My niece had spilled her milk and he handled that with such care and patience. At the end of the meal, my brother handled the check and so I hope he calculated the tip accordingly. I am sorry I don’t have names but if this reaches those young people who served us last night, I want to say Thank You, and that I wish you all...
Read moreWife got the ultimate feast. Everything came out perfectly cooked except the crab, Was over cooked. The lobster didn't have any seasoning to it at all, not to sure it that's how it's suppose to be.
Got the bar harbor. Seasoned and cooked perfectly as well, no issues there.
Now the good stuff out of the way, we we're at this location at 6:30pm and was not very busy and our waiter Keith took awhile to get us anything. From sitting he walked up to us about 5 min, got waters to start. Came back 5 min but we we're not ready. Didnt see him till 10 min later to order. Received the salads 20 min later. Got the entrees 20 min later. And the server was not very professional on providing us the food as he went to the wrong table and just threw the plate on the table. Keith came back 5 min later to ask if everything was good, was ok and he said he's going to bring the crab legs cracker. 20 min later he says sorry for the never bringing the crab cracker . As this point we asked for check and box. 10 min later we received it. And we we're finally able to leave. I wanted to comment to the head of house but noone was in the front and customers were waiting to be seated. I was also not the only patron that was getting frustrated and wondering where our server was. Food was good. Service...
