Alexandra's Too — Attraction in Fall River

Initial experience was great. I made appointment, my “stylist” called me to introduce herself at which point I gave her skew numbers for dresses I’d like to try on. Great, she said! And made my list. We then went back and forth couple of times as I added and took off some dresses. More “great! I’ll add to your list!” When I called to confirm my appt, asked her how many dresses I had in my list to try she told me 19 (!!!! Wow, I didn’t realize) and she said, “not typical but no big deal it’s doable” ;I told her I’d be fast! When I got there, I gave her my list again and showed the 3 that were my favorites. That’s when she told me “we only have 4 of your choices” really? You had more than enough opportunities to let me know that dresses I picked out may not be in the store. Thank God another girl helped her pull some dresses- as did my friend who I was there with. Ultimately it worked out- I found a dress. But your “stylists” should be open and honest and communicate to customers that not all dresses we put on our “no problem! I’ll add “ lists to try on, that that isn’t necessarily true. Please be open and honest about your process. I’d much rather have gotten a text that said “oh, great choices! Unfortunately we don’t have any of those for you to try on- we will pull dresses when...

My daughter and I visited Alexandra’s a few months ago looking for a mother of the bride dress. The drive was almost 2 hours for us. This was the first place we visited. The stylist I worked with was Leslie. I tried on at least 10 dresses. We began the appt by saying no beads or sequins. But i kept trying whatever was selected. When we were almost through, Leslie looked through the racks once again. She brought out a dress that had some beads and sequins and encouraged me to just try it on. It was beautiful, sophisticated and stylish. Because they have a no refund policy, I wasn’t ready to buy it since this was our first stop. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Leslie gave honest opinions on how she thought various dresses looked on me. I think that is quite rare. Her sense of humor made it very enjoyable. After that, I visited about 5 other places in western Mass and went to Natick Mall. I compared everything to the dress at Alexandra’s. Last week I called Leslie, bought the dress and it was delivered to me this week. We absolutely love it. It’s perfect. They have a much larger and better selection than any other place I’ve visited. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff at Alexandria’s Bridal Too. They are patient, caring, and absolutely are in tuned to what you are looking for. Everyone I interacted with was so kind and helpful. The one I want to really want to give kudos to, is Haylee! She was absolutely on point with my taste and everything she showed me was gorgeous and hard not to buy. She is so sweet. She went above and beyond to help me find ‘the dress’. She was so very patient (I know I was a pain) she had the perfect selection picked out for me when I arrived at my 1st appointment. Every dress was more beautiful than the one before. I retried a few multiple times at multiple appointments and she was superb every time. She is not only very professional, she has amazing taste and her intuition is superb. She’s a doll to work with. I wish I had 10 more weddings to be in just so she could help me find the perfect dress for our upcoming perfect day. You made finding a dress for our son’s wedding so much easier.
