Maplecroft is a truly stunning home! I can understand why Lisbeth wanted to live there so badly! I really wish that I could’ve seen the interior but even the exterior is absolutely gorgeous! I will admit; I was tempted to peek in some windows but I didn’t want to trespass and be disrespectful. Plus, they have security cameras 🤣 I’m hoping to one day be able to see the entire house because I grew up being very fascinated with the Borden family murders.

Beautiful beloved home of Lizbeth. You can feel the comfort & 'haven' that it must have been for her ... Loved the visit! The hosts (owners/employees of the Lizzie Borden B&B) were gracious, knowledgeable and accommodating! So happy I got to see it before it gets sold!

We drove by Maplecroft the morning after we spent the night at the Lizzie Bed and Breakfast on our way out to the cemetery. We hope to go back some day when the location opens up as a B&B, we keep our eyes on it waiting for it to open.
