Highland Mini Mart & Liquors — Local services in Fall River

Wrote a long extensive review about how this place used to be great but is most definitely going downhill and poof. It disappeared. Funny how negative reviews seem to vanish. Anyway, I'm not retyping it all so here's a summary: Great variety. From alcohol to dish soap to food to cleaning supplies to winter gloves. They pretty much have it all. But... Their own price tags mean nothing to them. They'll charge what they feel like charging. What I mean by that is they over charge. I was a regular here for years and out of the blue they started charging a lot more than what their price tags list. And If you question them about said prices they instantly lose their sweet personality and become rude af and pretend they don't speak english. (FYI - they all speak English just fine.) So if you're in a jam and don't care about being scammed or respected this is the place. Otherwise, there's a relatively new little convenience store on the corner of Robeson and Cherry, a tiny one near the corner of Pine and High, a fully stocked one on the corner of Rock and Pine, or a 7 11 on the corner of New Boston and Robeson. For liquor there's, my first pick, a package store on Bedford street between Tremont and Orange and another on Pleasant street...

They hired a new girl and she is very polite! She acknowledged me immediately when I walked through the door with a hello and a smile!😊 I can tell she was new (because I've never seen her before lol) and nervous but she got everything I needed quickly and when she cashed me out she smiled again and said "have great day" which was good because I wasn't having a good day😢! She did a great job! I don't go there often but with that customer service, I just might. It cost nothing to be kind to customers and give good customer service. You never know what type of day people are having and just a little kindness can change a whole lot for someone!❤️ 10 outta 10...

Good prices terrible attitude. I highly suggest not showing up with change. He denies customers quote” I don’t want your change I don’t need it.” Along with “I don’t have to count your change it’s my store.” After I just counted it for him in front of him.
