When you get the same looking frames from your old optical shop, come to For Eyes for a variety of stylish frames that are affordable. They also have an extensive selection of wide frames which is to my advantage. But shout out to Maggie Kennedy who mans the Broad St. Falls Church branch. On at least 2 of 3 visits, she single-handedly and efficiently ran the store, making sure that even with 3-4 customers at the same time, she gives equal attention to all. I have used For Eye for years and years and until yesterday, was a happy customer. I went in for new glasses. I was shocked !! at the price increases. I had previously found their price point reasonable. Apparently, the company has new owners and have made some changes.. Beside the prices, cleanliness was of concern. I was with my daughter, also getting glasses. I asked our tech if she cleaned the measuring device between clients. She said that they did, but then we noticed she did not do this and my daughter is just getting over pink eye. There was also a lot of dust and the display lenses looked smeary and unclean. Be aware of this terrible place! Please don’t go there! They made my son’s glasses wrong twice! On top of that they overcharged us. Also when I was there to pick up my son’s glasses there was another unhappy customer. Can you imagine having a young child getting the glasses wrong from this place and not be able to say something! This place would make a child’s eyesight worse. This place is also petty they took the lenses from the frame, but they didn’t give us the old ones.
