I had an amazing time at Midori Tea House! Their ceremonial grade matcha is absolutely delicious—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced with a deep umami flavor. Their french pastry is remarkable as well - my favorite is the Tigre Hazelnut Cake that is rich and tasty without being too sweet. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and prepare everything with care!

The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your matcha. Whether you're there to unwind, catch up with friends, or get some work done, the cozy ambiance adds to the experience.

Good value, vibes, and great drinks, I ordered white chocolate matcha which was delicious and Ube Tres leches. My friend ordered blueberry matcha and cherry blossom ice cream. Drink was delicious and so was the cake and ice cream, but the cake was definitely on the drier side, and the more accurate description would be dos leches (only because it’s not as moist as usual tres leches lol).

Using the bathroom here was definitely an experience because it felt like getting dropped off to a backroom maze as soon as I left the cafe to use the building bathroom, and the single locked bathroom (remember the passcode before leaving the cafe! because I certainly didn’t and it was a pain lol) itself was nasty as the single urinal was filled to the brim with piss and toilet paper and the entire area stank BAD, I don’t blame the owner for it though, must be a shitty...

Went on a Saturday afternoon as it was just getting dark, there was a consistent line of people coming in and out. The shop is small and minimalistic, and the staff are very welcoming and patient! I ordered the Ice Matcha Einspanner Cream and Iced Ube Matcha—the staff recommends 75% sugar for most of the drinks (25% sugar for Ube Matcha is good too). The drinks took about 7-10 minutes each which was fine, considering it was busy and there were a few staff members from what I saw. Quality over quantity!!! Overall, the drinks were yummy, my experience was good and I’d recommend this place to others. 👍
