This is my first time ever writing a review but I wanted to share my experience. I’m kind of surprised this place has a lot of good ratings. And I heard it was a nice place so I did look forward to come here. I do give them that this place seems clean and are following covid precautions. And that they take appointments. Been here once before and after the pandemic started. Overall there just seems to be a lot of confusion, so make sure they understand what you exactly want and don’t want. The first time I got a gel mani with no tips and it came out okay, and the second time, I got gel mani set and regular pedi. The gel set burned SO much under the UV light and that never happened to me before. (Especially when they used the stickers to make the nail shape). I think the pink powder underneath/gel was applied too thick. (And I don’t know if anyone else knows this but apparently these nail salons don’t even use actual gel all the way for “gel nails” when you ask for tips. They use acrylic which is the pink powder to make the shape.. which is worse for your nails) I think this place is also super overpriced for a mediocre job.. $100 (or was temporarily priced $70 for their promotion.. still, I wouldn’t pay to go again) to burn my nails for an o-kay looking nails? No thanks. I think they just charge extra for all the “services” they do but it’s really not a lot.. Not to mention only 4 days later, one my nail breaks when I wasn’t doing anything? I would have to choose the plastic tips over this. & Reg pedi only lasts for ~2 weeks before chipping. I’ll be going back to my regular nail salon that I’ve been going to...
Read morePOOR MANAGEMENT. RUDE STAFF WHO WILL TALK ABOUT YOU IN SPANISH. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Honestly if I could give it 0 stars I would. I have been going here for years and have even taken many people here prior to the change in management — but on Saturday I received the worst service I have ever had here. First off I was ignored by the receptionist/owner, then “CHRISSY” who I DO NOT recommend gave me the absolute worst gel pedicure. She did not ask if I would. like lavender or green tea, barely used lotion, kept jamming my foot into the light messing up the polish, barely scrubbed my foot, and left me multiple times one of which left me sitting in the chair freezing as she had already drained the water. She did not use the stone, or a warm towel, did not ask if I wanted to add anything, which I normally do, and all around had an attitude while talking in Spanish about other customers as well as myself to the technician next to her. I am pretty sure had I not made it apparent that I understood spanish that they would have continued talking about me. I will not be retuning here and I suggest you don’t waste your time or money here. It used to be great now it is horrible. Read moreThis used to be my favorite local nail salon but over the past year the quality has totally declined. The biggest problem is that they completely overbook themselves- so you will make an appointment at two and then go in and sit there for 45 minutes until someone can take you. Meanwhile, the water in the pedicure bowl is getting freezing cold. The second problem is the constant turnover so whenever you have someone good doing your nails, they most likely won’t be there for your next appointment.
The last appointment I made was for a gel fill and simple French manicure. The woman they put me with did not know how to do gel fills so I had to wait for someone else to open up. And the two nail technicians then sat talking about me in Spanish, and were very surprised when I knew what they were saying! The woman who finally did my nails went on to talk on her cell the entire time and gave me a terrible sloppy manicure that started chipping two days later. I hate to write a bad review about a local business but I don’t want anyone else to waste their money here on bad service and...
