MIProTechs — Attraction in Farmington Hills

Our initial meeting with MIPro techs went smoothly. We felt confident in their expertise, having been referred to them by our builder. Despite not being the most tech-savvy individuals, we followed their instructions diligently.

As the house neared completion, we received our estimate for the finishing work. Surprisingly, it was significantly higher than our initial expectations. We felt that there were many additional costs that were not explained to us in the initial meeting.

Disappointed, I contacted our sales representative, who expressed regret and promised to provide a clearer explanation in the future. Unfortunately, this didn’t resolve our concerns.

We reached out to two other companies for quotes, which were substantially lower. Both companies couldn’t comprehend why we had chosen certain items that we really didn’t need.

To add insult to injury, after the house was completed, the contractors left wires dangling without proper capping.

We built a new home and MI ProTechs did all the wiring for whole-home networking setup, living room atmos surround sound, and assorted other ceiling speakers. Specifically, Eric was their tech who came out and did the job.

I cannot speak more highly of the initial process getting the plan set up with Tim or the work Eric completed both during the rough construction phase and the Final portion, including cable termination and/or exposure of relevant wires. The work was beautifully done, with the cables managed at the termination point in a way that lends itself to continued sanity rather than the mess of cables such a project could result in.

I would be giving an easy 5 star review, except that as part of the later portion of the project, we had to repeatedly, over the course of a few weeks, chase folks in the back office to get Eric's final visit scheduled. Once it was, we were back into...

I use my Sonos system EVERY DAY!

Sales: I worked with Tim to build an optimal Sonos system that met my budget, but still allows for future growth. Tim responded quickly and answered all of my questions.

Installation: Aaron did an excellent job installing the Sonos Amp and Speakers. I think he even put band new screens on the speakers in the ceiling, as the others were dirty from home construction? (They look cleaner/new...) Aaron re-configured my messy "IT Locker" so the Sonos Amp fit nicely and organized inside which makes my OCD heart happy. Aaron was even able to salvage a cut wire from the construction crews without having to cut into drywall.

Customer Service: Tina was always pleasant to speak with.
