The day manager at this location is ridiculously rude and provides terrible service. We parked in the lot and attempted to enter the store but found the doors locked, despite the flashing OPEN sign. There was nothing at all posted about the lobby suddenly being closed. Odd, but instead we decided to try the drive-thru, where I ordered 4 doughnuts. Then we got our order, paid, and drove off. Near Haggerty and 10 Mile, I asked my daughter to check the order, and sure enough it was incomplete. There were only 3 doughnuts. We flipped a U-turn, drove back, and waited in the drive-thru line again. The woman taking orders apologized and said that she misheard us and only charged us for 3, but we can have the missing doughnut free due to the error. That seemed nice and totally reasonable. I prepare some more cash to increase the tip and pull up to the window. But instead I’m “greeted” by the awful manager who immediately takes a tone and demands $1.79 for the missing doughnut, no apologies for the error. Apparently she thinks that I am doing all of this driving back and forth with my daughter to scam Tim Horton’s out of a single $1.79 doughnut, while also tipping. Makes sense. Of course, she refused to honor what the order taker said, so I handed over more cash as she made a weird point of stating how I have to pay the full $1.79. The comment prompted me to ask about my change that I didn’t collect before. Getting even more belligerent, she snaps: “Well you drove off! Do you want that change back, my man?!”
I had never had any issue at this location before and had interacted with this manager before on a totally normal/friendly basis inside the lobby. But I will certainly never again visit this location. The entire experience was just weird and absurd. Great idea to blame your customers for a mistake from your staff.
Also, hang a sign up when the lobby is closed due to staffing issues. Although I can’t say that I’m surprised that this particular manager is having staffing issues. I could not imagine working for this rude jerk.
When I called back later to complain, she took the call and dug in, getting even more belligerent. “Oh well! If you don’t like, take it up with Corporate!”
So are you listening Corporate? I’m done with this location and am frankly not inclined to visit another TH. There are too many other options available where customers aren’t treated like an enemy. And all of this was after I tipped on my original order! So bizarre and completely...
Read morethis morning was pretty horrible to say the least, i have never had a bad experience until now, they rushed my order, i wasnt even finished. when i got to the window, she handed me timbits then tried to hand me another box which prompted me to look at the one she had already given me and it was not my order but someone elses, i gave her the box of timbits back and she gave me the correct one and i watched her take the timbits out of the box and put them back inside the shelves as if no one had touched them. then she comes back to the window asking what i still needed and i said my bagel and i again watched the lady pull a bagel out did not toast it as i had asked and when she gave it to me and i asked if she toasted it she told me yes and i was like i just watched you, no your did not. and i drove away. again, i have never received such horrible service from here ever, maybe its an off day, but putting product back after it was already in someone elses hands is gross to me. thats how people get sick. i wonder what else they put back like that. i know they have timers and everything (i used to work in fast food when i was young) but the quality and accuracy of the order is more important than how fast you can get customers away from your window. otherwise they come back and complain and/or you get...
Read moreBad service. They messed up my order, rushed me to go to the window when i wasn't done ordering. Asked for fajita grilled chicken wrap a medium coffee with triple triple, i was ring up for Chipotle wrap and a medium coffee with double double, when i told them at the window that's it's wrong they told me it's the same, they just ring it up like that, and started showing me his POS screen and pointing to the layout of their menu. And for the rush he pointed to the timer. I was the only one in the drive through from order to pick up yet didn't slow down to do my order right. And the last time I was inside they had the Sirius XM promo channel playing promotional message to sign up for satellite radio, and while waiting for my order, the clerk behind the counter was too lazy to call the customer or walk to his table to hand him his drink he tells (not asks) me to give the drink to the customer and I refused.
All of this and never heard an apology from anyone, careless staff. That's a reflection on management. Sorry but I won't be...
