Farmington Water Park & Splash Pad — Attraction in Farmington

Ruined 9 year old Nephews birthday, do not recommend for birthdays, there was no rain in the forecast but it ended up raining for two hours a nice life guard asked his manager if we could move inside, which his manger was walking past and the only info we got was that it was okay to move us inside and that they will set us up a party room. Never mentioned a time frame for the pool or party room and they made us go get our pizzas from them and we didn’t receive our drinks yet that came with party package and kicked us out of the room and we all hurried and Grabbed our stuff and went to there lobby area, waiting for the host to put gifts in car and come back. Mean while while we were walking to the lobby there goes an employee straight to our room with our drinks. We had to grab our drinks off the cart in the lobby. When asked about a refund or prorate the young lady got a attitude and said we don’t do refunds and kicked us out. Mean while we also spoke to another lady that said we can’t get a refund but can call up tomorrow about day passes but they are only opened for 1 more weekend. I’m really not happy. I understand the water park isn’t open until 11 each day, but we missed that coming in. The cashier charged us and we went on our way to the pool. We got in the lap pool and were hanging out. Well, a really snotty lady came over and asked, “Can I ask what you’re doing?” We told her we were just sitting there and she goes no you can’t be in here right now with swim lessons. You can do the river walk till 10. We were so upset that we went to the cashier and asked for our money back. She said we would have to leave and come back if we still wanted to swim because they don’t open till 11. I get closing the pool during swim lessons. However, kids that weren’t there for swim lessons were in the pool and a kid was going down the slide. That’s also not part of swim lessons. I get not being able to be in the pool. And, I get we were not there during actual hours. What I don’t appreciate is being talked to like that and then the girl going off and looking at us and pointing and laughing with the other girl she was with. That makes me not want to come back. A water park that doesn't have a WY to lock up your personal belongings is not consumer friendly. Went today and had to go leave my purse in my vehicle. I was not comfortable with that. 5 years ago was the last time I had gone there til today. They had licking lockers. I utilized them then. Only, just before we left, I sat my camera and 8 day new phone on a lounge chair 10 ft from me, and both were stolen within minutes of me standing near them. They offered no help at that time, and no way to even lock my belongings this time/today. How am I supposed to know to bring my own pad lock to a water park, ridiculous.
