Dollar General — Attraction in Flagler Beach

I reside in Flagler Beach and I've shopped at this store for almost 10 years. Recently (within the last several months or so), I learned that Kevin, is the current manager of this store. Previous managers and employees of this store have always been very friendly and helpful. Recently, I've noticed more diverse choices in product selection and an increase towards a more preferable and appropriate price range for the demographic customers who commonly shop at this store. I am unaware of who might be directly responsible for this dramatic change but it is enough that I felt compelled to comment on it. I was pleased to learn that Kevin is the manager of this store. I've always observed him to be knowledgeable and hard working (always wall to wall, all over the store). He always possesses a genuine friendly smile, and most importantly (something which unfortunately continues to flow out, and away from America, at an ever increasing voluminous rate), he projects the intention of QUALITY service. I wouldn't be surprised, at all, if Kevin IS directly responsible for the positive changes that I've observed in this store. If, indeed that he is, he certainly deserves accolades...

I give it a 3 but really without their incredible sales associates it would be a two. There is only one small door entrance right next to the register so you can't get in with a shopping cart unless everyone on line mives out of the way. The door barely and i mean barely fit a wheelchair. The store was empty with hard to find prices. Many things had 2 prices on them or no price at all. Their 6 ft social distance is impossible because the checkout line blocks the door and goes up and into the aisles. Good note their sales associates go out of their way to help you. They are friendly, hard working, and genuinely good people. No pictures sadly because i do not carry my phone into stores...

This store is awesome. From Kevin the manager to every employee on the DG team. They are fantastic. Friendly, courteous, service every time. They work hard long hours too and still will take time to help locate an item, do returns, or even get you hooked up with a new cell phone and service. Best Dollar General I have ever been to.
