Today I was totally floored. I had forgotten that I made a comment about me not ever going back to this place not because of the drink but because of their attitude. It was not about me getting a curdled drink, and I was upset because the one girl I spoke to slammed dunked the cup in the trash and was upset because I didn’t want it. I then commented on Facebook I was never returning.
The owner now claims that he saw camera of the girl and she didn’t dunk drink in the trash.
Today I totally forgot I made the comment that I would never go back. I wish I never did.
When I arrived forgetful about my comment there was no apologies made in fact I wish I would have taken a picture of it of the drink before I would return it.
If it were not curdled milk then there was certainly something in my drink and it was not a nice situation. I would apologize to the person and then offer to make another one.
I did leave very upset that day because of no apologies nor offer to make drink again so I settled for a cup of coffee.
That is not the way I would have handled it or treated my customer. I really would have been extremely apologetic.
I was shown the comment I made and I still stand by my comment especially now. I was literally kicked out with no apologies or anything just to get out!
I felt like I was in Hell Kitchen for a moment, “get out” is all they kept saying, so I left ha… I made a true comment about having purchased a damaged product. I was not treated right then nor was I treated right today. I did forget about my comment.
Now I will definitely never go back knowing their attitudes towards my comment. It was wrong attitude all around and I am extremely upset that they did not believe me. It’s just coffee. I don’t feel horrible I made the comment but I do feel horrible they were not even willing to apologize.
I love you guy’s!!!
I’ll remember nit to come back.
Thank you all...
Read moreThere is a nice menu selection for breakfast and lunch items. For the price, the taste of the menu items I’ve tried so far has been average. The cost is nearly nullified by the nice atmosphere however. It’s a nice clean and modern venue with a crew that seems to enjoy what they do, not acting cornily happy, but likes the service they provide. The only downside, is it’s open so you can hear everyone’s else’s conversations. Easily mitigated by sitting around the corner in the bar area.
I ordered “The Florida Heater”, which was tasty, but I think they would benefit from some more advanced type of bagel and a more spicy option. I’ve also tried the chicken and waffles. These seem to use the same sugar waffle as Tortugas waffle burger that my wife really enjoys. For the price they should throw in another chicken strip. They get cooked down pretty small but they are tasty and pair nicely with the waffle.
They brew a nice cup of black coffee, but the flavored options directly off the menu leave a little bit to be desired. Although you are able to request additives like whip, cream, etc, it would be a good idea to provide some flavor additives and some...
Read moreI've been told about this place by several people since I moved here and just happened to stumble across it while my grandmother was in town. We went on a Sunday after church and it wasn't busy at all...in a good way. There was a man with a guitar playing some music which we all enjoyed. I got the club sandwich with a side salad and my grandmother got the club on a wrap with cucumber salad. We also shared a piece of the coffee cake which is one of the best 👌 I'm a chef and pastry chef and it's almost better than mine 😉 for refreshments we had the peach mango refresher and the blood orange refresher. Both we very tasty and I'd definitely order it all again. No complaints. I have a young daughter and they were welcoming to her as well. I'm excited to go back. It was really my favorite food I've had in Palm Coast. I have a hard time spending money on out to eat food because I'm always disappointed...this did not disappoint. The only downside is parking. But we parked across the road and walked...
