Had a great time at the Flagler Beach Historical Museum! When I entered I was greeted by two very welcoming people. Then I was given a tour of the museum. The tour was amazing! I learned so much about our town's rich history. One of the many cool things on display was this city of Flagler Beach flag taken into orbit aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour on a flight to the International Space Station in December 2001. Both of the volunteers were very knowledgeable about the history and had amazing stories about Flagler Beach. The museum was also very clean and very well organized. They also have a gift shop where you can purchase books about our local history, postcards, etc. I highly recommend both residents and tourists to stop by the museum and learn about our rich history!

First time here having just moved to Flagler Beach. What an awesome museum. Incredible amount of historical artifacts, the entire layout is very well done with rows of well lit cases filled with interesting items from the past and well described. The wall pictures are amazing. Important literature available for emergencies and state parks etc. I was just passing by on a bike ride and stopped in and was greeted by James Fiske the tourism specialist. We had a great conversation. I could spend hours in there. This is great to see Flagler understands the importance of our history with money well spent. Thank you!

The family and I decided to take a quick walk around Flagler Beach and saw the Flagler Beach Historical Museum was open. I am so glad we did! What a beautiful museum with amazing photos of Flagler beach’s history and events. They also fossils and rocks that were discovered in Flagler. The museum is free but rich with information and memories!

The museum was open during my family's visit over the Labor Day weekend, and Flagler Beach was a familiar destination for my mother back in the 1930's. She enjoyed looking around and chatting with the staff about locating various places from the past. The exhibits cover archaeology items like fossils of mastadons, mammoths, and giant ground sloths, and historical events like a Lindbergh flight in 1931 that my...
