Swillerbees Craft Donuts & Coffee in Flagler Beach — Restaurant in Flagler Beach

I look forward to lazy Sundays filled with sugar coma naps after chowing down on confectionery blissfilled donuts from this local spot. We visited here a couple summers ago on our family vacation and I’ve been longing to return ever since.

7/21/2025 I recommend the specialty/seasonal options over the standard glazed/frosted rings - there is more donut to frosting ratio to balance the sweet!

For June my favorite is the unicorn tail filled with cotton candy fluffy filling and a cake batter frosting (I had to visit 2x to get my fix this trip)

The bee stinger is a hit - such a fun presentation of donut holes and my son prefers this to the frosted donuts which is a rarity.

Drinks: Hot chai latte - I love chai and this one doesn’t disappoint, typically I add vanilla to increase the sweetness, but this one is great on it’s own and packed with flavor unlike some other coffee shops that tend to be watered down.

7/23/2025 We had to visit again before our trip comes to a close.

Food: Peach Roll - a double sized donut covered in fluffy frosting, crumb topping and is similar to a cinnamon roll, but has delightful peachy jelly inside the roll. This might be my new favorite

Blueberry Donut - (I tried this after already eating 1/2 of the peach roll - so my palate may have been sugar overloaded) This one is good, but I didn’t really taste much blueberry, the filling hints of blueberry and is very good :-) - but the peach roll won my heart!

Drinks: White Hot Cocoa - my son reports it’s one of the best he’s had White Samoa Iced Latte - I like a little coffee with my creamer and this def checked the boxes for me personally. I do think if don’t want a sweet treat for coffee - order something different, but for the basic mom’s out there that love sugary bliss...

Last minute plans to spend my 12 year old autistic son’s birthday with grandma and grandpa in Bunnell! He’s obsessed with wresting and they hit it hard! Not only did they taste amazing!!!! But the customer service was out of this world! There was a mix up on their end with the understanding of having all the donuts jelly filled, however only half were and so they refunded us $20 + a heart felt apology! I am not kidding when I tell you their jelly filled is FILLED! It’s not like only donut shops were you get a little glob of jelly.. these were overloaded amazingly with jelly! Plus they tasted freaking amazing!!!!! I also have to add these are not your average donuts these things I swear the 6 jelly filled probably weighed 3 pounds! lol nothing but positivity for these folks!!!! 5 ⭐️ is an understatement! Thank y’all so much! Also I never told them my son’s favorite color I never even asked for a specific color and they nailed it with his favorite color green! Awesome job y’all!!!! If I had to say anything negative I would say I was not to happy with the plain ones with just gold sprinkles I liked how they at least added the wwe to the plain gold sprinkled ones however some they didn’t they were kit wwe theme at all and that was disappointing and I also asked for just vanilla icing and jelly filled so the sprinkles were a little disappointing but that’s just for the “Karen’s” who are over picky! Haha we absolutely would order again!!!! We are 100% happy. We added that just for the “Karen’s” to remember to be overly specific and tell them no plain ones however I thought with asking for WWE they all would’ve been themed for the price we paid. But again they made it right with the ones they didn’t jelly fill so nothing negative here we were...

Update: I was able to return many months later and found Swillerbees to be much different than my previous experience. People were respectful, service was polite and quick, and the food and coffee we tried were pretty good. There were some things about the pastries that were quite a bit different in taste and texture than I'd expected. Not bad, really, just not what I prefer, and you know how sw people can be before that first cup of coffee sets in. I'll be the occasional regular when I'm in town again.

Tightly packed indoor line with very few people wearing masks or bothering with any distance whatsoever. I really wanted to try the donuts but not worth dealing with that level of inconsiderate crowds.

To answer the comment from the owner: My review covers your establishment as a whole, the food itself is important, but so is basic hygiene and cleanliness. Having no requirement for your customers in line to wear a mask, or any distancing between those in line, you don't provide a safe hygienic environment for your employees or customers. I have made several visits to your shop, hoping one bad experience was just the outlier, but it's been the same each time.

It is your right to run your establishment as you see fit, as it is the right for customers to continue giving you business if they see fit. People can make their own decisions based on the facts, and this review only shares the facts I know, and openly admit the information I don't have.
