Gallery of Local Art - (GOLA) — Attraction in Flagler Beach

My family and I have been coming to flagler beach for years and spend big money and dont mind doing it..we visit all the shops and buy from most..every time I have always enjoyed GOLA for the local artist I am always on the hunt for something that moves me.. I bought a couple of shells done by a local artist I have bought a couple every year and display them in my living room..as I was checking out I seen they had raffle tickets for a week stay in oct..I asked to buy 5 because it was 5 for 20.00 the lady working said she didnt know where they were then when she seen I really wanted to get 5 she fake tried calling her boss then when she couldn't get a hold of any one she then says her phone is dying...she didn't mind taking my husband credit card for the shells ..even though he is black and me his loving wife of many years white..but flatly refused to give us a chance at that week vacation in flagler..Racism is alive and well in this store...SHAME ON YOU..OH AND I WILL NOW BE TAKING MY MONEY SOME PLACE ELSE SO WILL ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHOME...

These ladies accused my sister and i of stealing. We walked in then left and then returned trying to find a gift for my mom. I was looking at a bracelet and she told me to look at a gift box i clearly stated i was not interested in. Then when my sister and i was walking around she took the bracelet from me and said that she’ll hold it at the front for me. Then when we were checking out one lady asked if she could see what was in our bag from the previous store to make it look like she was interested in what we had just bought. and i just told her it was a candle. she made us take our things out of the bag and show her. and when my sister dropped her bag she was quick to pick it up and look in it. I came to this shop for the first time and it was a good experience I even got a nice bracelet from here. This time the experience was not so great.
