Inside you'll find a clean, modern gallery filled with light and an exceptional variety of artwork. From pottery to mixed media assemblages to large oil paintings, there is something to suit almost any taste. I especially like the opportunity to support local or regional artists, and much of the work on display is done by artists who call the surrounding area home. There is absolutely no sense of snootiness or pretension inside. I immediately felt welcomed and the gallery owner herself is warm, welcoming, and happy to talk about any of the artwork on display. I must also mention that for art lovers on a budget, the Gallery at Flat Rock has a lovely selection of smaller print materials, journals, cards, etc. You can go home with something special no matter what your budget may be. Truly, this is a gem of a place and well worth spending an hour or more to explore the many amazing works of art...

We hired Suzanne for a porch portrait and wow, best decision of our life! We were just visiting the area at a local Airbnb, but Suzanne made it so simple to meet up at our rental, do the photo shoot and kept it all so fun and relaxed (much appreciated by a family of four that consists of a 10 year old and 3 year old who is very active!) We can’t express enough how grateful we are to her. Made our visit so memorable, highly recommend this to anyone. (Not to mention she is donating 30% of her proceeds to the Flat Rock community playhouse, how cool is this woman!) Also, highly recommend taking a visit to her art gallery in Flat Rock, she has many local artists works displayed there, including some AMAZING jewelry...

The quality of the artwork on display is top notch and you can tell that a fine curatorial eye has determined the caliber of the artists included and of the work that's on display.
