Great photography shop all around. Staff is very courteous and willing to take the time to explain things to you. Right now they are in a smaller shop while the main one is under construction (just around the corner down an alleyway).
They have very fair and competitive prices on film, and many different types of film to choose from (Kodak, Fujifilm, Ilford, etc..). Black and white, portra, 35mm and large format, chance is they have it. They even do things like camera repair, have a few lenses in stock, an all around photo shop.
I also like that they are able to develop and scan film in house. They are also able to upload your scans to a drive where you can download them without losing quality. If needed, you can even mail them film, have them develop it, and they will mail it back (worth a phone call or email first).

I found an old film camera a year ago and have been using it casually to take pictures and I have never had an issue with anything in that time. In fact, they have gone so above and beyond to make sure my scans look amazing with an absolutely amazing turn around time. Whenever I was going through big box stores like Walmart it would literally take at minimum a month, where with these guys it’s 3-5 business days (but usually sooner). My work schedule directly conflicts with their opening hours which has made it a little tricky to drop off, but they have always gone the extra mile, whether that’s helping me figure out how to use the drop off box at early bird, or even offering to drop new rolls off for me locally when I couldn’t make it in to pickup. Read moreWorst experience ever. I chose to go local to get my family videos transferred to DVDs -- instead of outsourcing to an online vendor -- thinking I would get a more personalized experience. FOUR MONTHS LATER I finally received my DVDs, and to add insult to injury, I ended up paying nearly TWICE what my original quote was (which, if you're curious, is still three times more than it would've been had I chosen an online vendor). The owner apologized for the mistakes (the first time my DVDs were ready my family name was misspelled), citing he was going through "personal issues." I would be sympathetic, but other miscues lead me to believe this was a manipulative tactic to make me, the customer, feel bad for the lousy service I was receiving.
