On Thursday July 9, 2020, around 9:45am I took my 3 year old daughter to play at the play ground. We were only there for 30 minutes or less and in that time, someone busted the front passenger window in my car and stole my black purse with my wallet and other personal items inside. There were tons of people on the tennis courts where I parked and there were other people parked in the same parking lot, but unfortunately no one heard or saw anything. I know sometimes a thief will take what they want and then dump the bag so if anyone happens to come across my black purse or black wallet out there please contact me and let me know. If anyone reading this happens to know anything or maybe was there that morning and saw something that may be helpful please let me know! I really appreciate any help! I wouldn't recommend this park because I learned Thursday there are no cameras at all in the parking lot or anywhere on the property and from what the police told me this area is a hot spot for break...
Read moreI had my son's birthday party here. The park is okay. There are a few issues. The walkway had a few uneven areas where there was a small drop between the walking and grass. My son brought his hoverboard and fell a few times accidentally running into those areas. The bathrooms are my biggest concern, they are always locked. I understand that they don't want drug users in the bathrooms, but when you have families in the park on the weekends, where are they supposed to use the bathroom? I feel that just having police presence in the park on weekends would help keep drug users and dealers away. The bathrooms are in working condition because there were workers in the park using the water source to clean the tennis courts. Why should normal families have to leave the park to use the bathroom? Many businesses in the area don't allow public bathroom use. I just feel that police presence should be in park on the weekends, so that the bathrooms can be open for...
Read moreFlorence was halfway on our trip and from the reviews we decided to stop here at let the kids run around. Driving to the park the community looked like it was mid-gentrification and we weren’t sure what to expect, but pulling into the park we saw the playground and pickle ball league in full swing and knew it would be good. The playground was nice and accommodating to the variety of age groups we have. It was special needs friendly, but not good for wheelchairs. There were some homeless folks around but they were no harm. Men’s bathroom was locked, so we had to use the women’s but that wasn’t a problem. We’ll keep it in mind for...
