Went to this restaurant to eat diner while on business, and was surprised at the quality of food presented after reading reviews. I was expecting nice fresh, crisp food and it was overly done or had been sitting in the pan too long. The hot tables were lukewarm at best. I tried to make the best of it as I was hungry and tired. I asked for some wasabi sauce and was told they don't use it as it is too hot. next I asked for soy sauce as there was not any on the tables or service bars and was directed to the cashier as she had a basket of the little packets like you would get with a carry out. Then proceeded to the soup bars for hot and sour soup and they only had egg drop, again I asked and what appeared to be the owner said they only make egg drop soup. There was no sushi or sashimi on any of the serving bars. They had just the very very basics and it was either lukewarm or soggy . The owner spent most of her time screaming over a microphone she had in her hand while looking over the food bars like she was serving 400 people and the food was getting low when in fact the place was half empty the whole night. I sat there waiting for my other party to pick through their food and we left in disgust. We will diffidently make sure in all of our business briefings to mention that this is not the place to get quality food or at very least the quality that you would normally get and a decent Chinese buffet....
Read moreI used to frequent this establishment every now and again after not having a good first impression but the food wasn't bad so I decided to give It a second chance. On my last visit after leaving a man who seemed down on his luck asked if I could get him a plate to eat. Now I'm used to people asking me for money to "get food" to which I'll always say no but he asked me for food. I now what it's like to not have and I had money so I decided to help him. After going inside and getting him a to go plate they told me they'd allow me to buy him a plate but it would be the last time. I understood the reason why but felt bothered by how they said it. When a customer standing by mentioned that I was just helping someone who needed a hand they became irate and said if you feed one today you'll have 4 tomorrow asking to be fed. It wasn't enough that they made it a point to say it out loud once but they had to say it again and further embarrass the man as if begging for food wasn't enough. It's one thing to want your customers to not be harrassed, it's another thing to be spiteful because you don't like beggars. Needless to say I will not be visiting this...
Read moreI have been going to this place since I was a little girl (over 18 years) and I always enjoy their food and I still do but I have had enough. When the pandemic happen they remove at least 1/4 of the Buffett items which was fine because we were in a crisis and they were trying to run a business American economy. Then the price increased which I also understand because of inflation and they had to put out more money for paper products and plastic gloves they offered during the pandemic. They also decreased the size of the to go plates. Now the paper products are gone, buffet 1/4 of the way gone and prices are even more higher. (Almost double) the muscles, the teriyaki wings, honey mustard wings, the mei fun noodles, seafood soup, the wonton soup, white stir fry rice, ham and more are all gone. These were a few of my favorites that are no longer on the bar I hope they consider bringing back the full bar before they lose long time customers. I always get to go because the dining...
