Ancient City Slingshots — Attraction in Florida

They made it too easy. Easy in, easy out, easy return. They did a thorough pre-trip overview of the machine which was nice. The helmets were behind the seat and the ride was fantastic. I went with this company over Turo because they have brand new slingshots, you can park your car there in a secured fenced area, they have surveillance on site outside, the owner is directly involved in the company, somebody always answers the phone, people that know whats going on and ACTUALLY work there answer the phone. My phone died and I forgot the pin, so my sister called them and they verified me and gave me the pin code. I didnt think we would get somebody bc it was late at night but not only did we NOT get a call center which everybody knows pisses me off no matter what company it is but they were very professional and polite each step of the way. What you would expect of a simple machine is not what u get with these slingshots. They are top performing incredibly powerful machines. You need to stay aware that there is only 1 tire in the rear. I liked driving it beyond what I could explain on google but you do have to be mindful of things like irregular road surfaces the same way you would a motorcycle and we were pretty much prepared for that because we actually watched the safety video and read the waiver. Anyway, nobody could top the ride we pulled up in and it was definitely a crowd pleaser. People were taking pictures in front of it and we caught a beautiful sunrise because of the route we took to drop it off. It was a fantastic adventure and was worth every penny... I would not rent one anywhere else because they were so good to me and their machines are well maintained 2023 mostly 2024s. Not worrying about breakdowns or equipment failures and all the things I mentioned is why they got a 5 star which I dont give out because most places have management problems people problems facility and operations problems etc. So they had to be really good people with appropriate business practices ethics and ettiquette to even be a company I would write a positive review on. I'm like most people that write reviews when things went wrong and not always when they go right. Things went smoothly and perfectly from start to finish with these guys. The equipment and people met and exceeded expectations. PROBLEM: Traffic. The routes to get to St. Augustine are problematic these days. 13, 16, 95 are all clogged in ways they never were so you are going to need to add a lot of time to your pickup and drop off to be there on time. I took the backroads and was surprised that there was so much traffic coming through Green Cove Springs. We had to leave extra early to get back ontime. We stayed like an hour away so that speaks to these guys business that we would want to drive that far to get the slingshot when people have rentals nearby (couldn't trust it, went with the sure thing) but also to how you need to know that St Augustine and Jacksonville are starting to get like Orlando. It used to be easy to drive around those places. I guess I haven't been down there is a few years so I wasnt ready. Be ready and rent here. It was a good...

I had the most amazing day ever using the Polaris Slingshot! As soon as I got inside this slick, futuristic car, I knew this was going to be an unforgettable journey.

The rental process went well, and Josh made sure I felt at ease and competent before I left. He gave me detailed instructions. Their enthusiasm for the Slingshot was infectious, which raised the level of excitement during the encounter.

Omg! So much fun!!! And they let you take it overnight! Totally worth it and tbh not that expensive! Personally I prefer a manual but to each their own!!! Gene rented the slingshot to my wife and I and this morning I brought it back (filled with gas 89 or higher) I did 93! Josh was there to meet me this morning at 9:00 and he was amazing as well! Very friendly people and will be more than happy to help you with anything that you may need! If you can drive a manual (stick shift) you will be ecstatic!!! If you can’t well I guess your stuck with the auto! Not bad but if you like to play, manual all the way! All new and or newer cars, so they have stereo and not just a base model! Very pleased and when, not if I will be renting one again! Fortunately for ancient city slingshot my wife will not allow me to buy one so I’ll just rent from them!!!! Have fun...
